U know....

I actually do read some of the things posted about me.. and there are some quite mean people on the net. :(

This device has become a running joke internally and no one will be happier then me when it is finally in stores.

When I say its a "go" that means its ready.. now when marketing, inventory and the easter bunny (no double meaning there) get it to stores.. that not my job or concern..

those with bb pre-orders?? Well I am sure they appreciate the interest on your cash they have been getting..

I addressed the delay thing on my blog but I just caution people to not stress over a phone.. life is too precious.

I do this for those that love Mobile tech.. spend hours helping all who ask, I dont BS about anything.. good or bad..

take the information for what you will..

Nothing against bmx, I appreciate his info but it seems like the last few times when he has given hints about when its coming out and then it doesn't look like it's going to come out his story kind of changes. Just the other day talkn about not like it's coming out on Thursday, and all the other hints that were dropped but now all of a sudden, well I can't control marketing and advertising and all that. exactly, so unless you are sure of a date then why even say anything when all those other factors are involved. Before everyone gets all upset, like I said I appreciate the info just like anyone else, I just don't like to be fed info that doesn't pan out, especially from a reliable source.

He never said anything about Thursday... All I heard from him was March, and 'not this week'. None of which have been false so far.

Btw, thanks for dropping in BMX, I was beginning to think you were a vaporpanda.

Because he has never mentioned any release date other than march. His tweet saying "thundebolts are go" was conveying that all the bugs have been worked out, not implying an impending release. He has clarified in several places, look it up if you don't believe me.

Yea and did he ever say the device is being launched? No! He said it was a go. For u to take it the way you want is not his problem. He never gave a date to when it will be out. Yes he is a tester so yes he should know when the device is a go. HE is right when he says that it's Verizon's problem as to when they wanna launch it, not his.

I am trying to look at this from all sides. I see the side of appreciating what BMX is doing, no doubt. And as I wrote the other day, I'm not one to bite the hand that feeds me, but all things considered, I don't think it is fair to have BMX come on here and not take any of the fall for the chaos. He purposefully chose to speak in code/jest and riddles. He even went as far to state, and I believe he was borrowing a quote from a great film, but I could be wrong, when referring to the greatest trick Verizon ever played... I'm just saying that he needs to take a small bit of responsibility for chaos that ensues when you choose to word things like that. There is giving info and there is giving info with benefits. Even if your intentions are innocent, you have to know what it is going to do. To come back and say that you are all for the people is one thing, and again, we all appreciate that, but if that is true, then keep in mind that there is a way to deliver information and not "stir the pot" for enjoyment or by accident.
Again, please consider that I am trying to look at this from both sides. I think we all want the same thing, but we all need to take responsibility for our actions...and this applies to all of us, not just BMX.
Thanks to EVERYONE who is working us through this. And BMX is right when saying that we shouldn't let this get us crazy, myself included who has been driven nuts by this.

i agree bmx is just playing games by posting his comments in riddles and such cmon man just say what you gotta say in plain english theres no need to stir the pot anymore. he gets mad cause people get mad at him like its his fault but if he just posted stuff without riddles and making people assume things people wouldnt hate him.

You do realize he does this to help give us info without costing him his job or position? Has it occurred to anyone that someone working on proprietary items can be fired for releasing any info? The riddles are his way of getting info to the masses without compromising whatever agreement he has with the vendor.

yes but at the same time he needs to know that posting riddles online people are gonna dissect what he says everywhich way to the point where it doesnt mean what hes actually trying to say.

Thank you! It's not like these "riddles" are that hard to figure out. If we want info at all, we are going to have to accept the fact that he can't just post whatever he wants because of non-disclosure agreements so it must be a little cryptic. His job is more important than giving random people thunderbolt info.

True. There will always be those that try to read into everything. That what makes the forums great. Different perspectives. I personally like to hear different views than mine so the riddles are always a good time for me.

im not hating on the guy i thank him for his info it just that sometimes it seems hes throwing fuel on a fire for fun. to get people talking like that one comment he started saying but then changed the subject about a phone with dual cores.

That wasn't him, it was someone he was talking to. All he said was that the thunderbolt would be perfect if it had a dual core and a battery to support that. The person he was talking to was the one that started to talk about a phone like that.
 
some dont like your style... I personally love it...I'm one for sarcasm, wit, and general humor, so keep doing what you do.
