Best Buy Details

Let's hope. He is the same Guy that said the 28th! But he's just relaying the info that he gets from corporate, although they keep changing it up.
 
I feel sales would be terrible at a price of 299.99. I mean i knw there are plenty of the tech savvy ppl out there that would dish that out but for the average consumer thats steep. I really hope that is right at 299.99 with a 100.00 of rebate.. but instant rebate only!!

I just did it and I also complained about the free buyback program not being free anymore.

But we all know that the automated msg could be old and they could say they have not updated it. I would go by the print ad in the weekly circular. It's currently $299 with the 2 yr at BB. I would like to be $249, but that's my wish. I'm still in line with my pre-order, waiting.....

I understand that, but this came from my Verizon Rep. I am an Authorized Verizon Retailer, and it came from him. I was under the same assumption but this is what he told me yesterday. I had $249 as my 2yr price????????
 
Question for you BB employees or experts. My 30 return window ends on March 14th. What is the best approach to get it extended until the TB is released? Is it even doable? I pre-ordered on Feb 9th and my OD died on the 14th so had to buy a new phone and I did it at BB due to the pre-order and 30 day return window. Thanks!

30 days from February 14th = March 16th. Boom! 2 day extension!
 
Just looked at the receipt... it was the 13th of Feb... so March 15th. Still may miss it if it does go to the 17th or 24th.

Or buy a throw away candy bar phone on ebay. Use until the Bolt comes out then resell on ebay (or give to a local womans shelter).
 
Hmmm... Never thought of that...I have a Blackberry Tour sitting around. Thanks! I am currently trying out an i*hone, really nice device but I miss the built in nav and speech to text so I will go back to Android.

But wait... I would have to pay full retail for the TB if I did that. I would essentially lose my upgrade discount. Right?

Hmmm...Do not know that, I would think if you returned, you did not "renew" or sign a new agreement. Call and ask, better yet, go into store and ask.

Hey Jay, offtopic question about Best Buy, and VZW phones.

What is the real time frame that I can return my DInc to trade for a Thunderbolt at Best Buy if I buy both there? Is it Verizon's 14 days, or Best Buy's 30 days?

Put it this way, 13 days ago today, I bought the DInc from Best Buy. I am wondering if I need to go back today to return it and not incur any problems, or if I can keep waiting into the 30 day window (possibly March 10th) and be able to exchange it for the TBolt?

I return mine every 14 days just to be safe, even though a bb rep gave me an extension.(don't trust bb any more)

Right on. Called Best Buy and this is what the lady claimed after double checking ( i think with her manager )

The Contract is 14 days. So if you want to get out of the contract you only have 14 days.

However, you have 30 days to exchange the phone / return the phone, but you will be locked into the contract after 14 days.

Now the question is, will the TBolt come out in the next 16 days (before March 20th) haha. If you guys were in my shoes would you return the phone and wait with an old one, or just pray that it will come out in that time frame?

I missed the 14 day window so at this point I need the TB to come out before the 15th or need to try to get exchange extension from BB mgmt.
