i'm liking the new Honeybread set up! Theme is smooth as silk w/ apex 1.4.1!

Shit I tried a couple metamorphs and threw my phone through a process force close loop. Eventually it launched into the bootstrapper reboot menu thank god. I tried to install each one of my back ups, but to no avail :(. so now i just wiped and reloaded apex 1.4.1 from the SD card...

sorry to hear about that but glad to hear you were able to bring it back.
FWIW I dont use ninjamorph or metamorph. I'd much rather change the images manually in a zip... but thats a personal preference.

I agree, I'm not too fond of NinjaMorph or MetaMorph either.

Yeah no worries, but how come when I was in the Clockwork Mod Recovery Mod, I went to restore a back up and it stated "No files found."

Are you able to discribe step by step how you made the backup? Assuming you followed all the steps properly im wondering if the clockwork recovery didn't finish the backup correctly...
Cause I have several backups (some of stock apex and several of different versions I've made of honeybread) and I've never had a problem restoring different ones.
Also, how did you try to restore your backup?

Okay here's the steps:

1. Went to ROM Manager and made it "Back up Current ROM"
2. Went to Bootstrap and pressed "Bootstrap Recovery" and then "Reboot Recovery"
3. On the Clockwork Mod screen I pressed "back up/restore"
4. I then selected "back up," and the phone spent several minutes backing up
5. I rebooted the again launched Clockwork Mod recovery to look at the back ups, went to restore the back ups and selected each one of them, but it said "No files"

That's where I am at.

Ok, check this, use a file manager (I use root explorer) go into sdcard/clockworkmod/backup and you should see atleast 1 file (one of your backups) go into that and you should have 5 items in there (android_secure.img, cache.img, data.img, nandroid.md5, and system.img) assuming all 5 files are there the backup SHOULD be a good one.
To make a backup I use Droid X Bootstrapper. Press bootstrap recovery then reboot recovery. Once it reboots into clockwork recovery making a backup is pretty easy (off the top of my head I think you go to backup/restore then backup and it may ask you if you want to make a backup, say yes and let it do its thing.) It should take several minutes to make a backup. Once its finished, reboot the phone. It should save your backup as a time/date stamp.
You can change the name of the backup using root explorer as well BUT MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO SPACES IN THE NAME YOU GIVE IT.
Restoring a backup is very similar but instead of choosing backup you choose restore and then choose the backup you want to restore.
This may all be stuff you already know im just trying to make sure you've got all the info straight.
Like I said it may not hurt to check your backup you made with root explorer to make sure those 5 files are there and also make sure there's no space in the name you gave your backup (if you changed the name or gave it name.)
I hope that helps.

Thx for the theme! Looks amazing, been following this thread for a little over a week but just flashed it. No problems here.

:-)

thanks for APEX...i tried Liberty 1.5 and never had any problem. Switched to apex because of this Honeybread theme. awesome!!! loving it so far. THank you so much ECF...

Hey man! Any new updates or plans? I really would like some of those icons!

Yeah I have been working a little on another update but havnt been able to do a ton yet (went back to summer work hours of 60 hours a week plus my 3-4 hour (round trip) commute to work 6 days a week) I did get the issue with the send button resolved though (button being too small in sms and gchat) and yes I plan on including the apks to get the themed browser, gmail, dialer, and messaging icons (hopefully) plus some other little touch ups in colors here and there.

Keep up the good work EC. I unfortunately had to dump apex today. I was at the Aquarium in Chattanooga TN with the fam today and my camera kept crashing on me and my phone got suuuppper hot. I flashed a stock back up for now. I might be coming back, but hopefully I'll have a thunderbolt by then! :D

3-4 hour round trip commute? That is absolutely brutal. Why so long?

Wow that sucks. Glad to hear flashing to stock fixed it though.
And hahaha yeah, actually it sounds like it may "happen soon" with the stuff that's been popping up recently (how many times have we thought this before? Lol)

does anyone have the problem of themed market reverted back to the original theme (green)?

EC..i miss DC. I used to have an office at K st. and used to live in Crystal city VA.

Yes, I think I put it up farther back in this thread, the market updated which overwrote the themed version in this theme.

Yeah I live by Dulles and work by Columbia.
