I for one think they will end 4G unlimited plans voluntarily.

I think VZW will announce "cost savings" plans that will reduce the voice portion of the plans while increasing the data costs of the plan. They will most likely have a tiered solution but Verizon has to get to a point where data cost more than voice. Just a thought...

You sign up for the "new" plan...bye bye unlimited 4G

So according to documents which HTC signed before this device was finalized, they are working hard and we should be seeing Gingerbread on this device by June, but could see it as early as May!

EDIT: Onlive should follow Gingerbread.

This may sound kinda petty but does anyone else get offended when people say the Thunderbolt is just a Verizon EVO ??

Anyone I've talked to with an EVO has said this to me granted they barely know what the EVO really is spec wise but I dont' know kinda erks me haha
 
if we dont get a definite time to purchase online this will make for a long night. stay up til twelve, then wake up at 3 if it wasnt 12, then 7 if not 3, then 9 if not 7(eastern times)

I'm on my parents line so I can't stroll into the store and purchase it myself at 9:00a.m.
 
I called my local vzw corp store in NYC and they didn't even have the shipment yet. They said they will 100% have it tomorrow when the store opens, but they also had no clue what the Full Price of the phone was... WOW!

our verizon store is a bunch of incompetent ******s. every single time my mom and I have gone to purchase a phone they tell her that she cannot do it because she is not an account holder. every single time this has happened my mom and dad went through the hassle of re adding her, but then of course the next time it's the same b.s. all over again.

I really don't feel like it would be worth it to get me added based on past encounters. we have moved to only purchasing online after that nonsense anyways, but it would've been nice to get the tb a day earlier

On the day of an Android phone release, do we have gimmicks like the ones that Apple does where the store employees stand outside the shop and clap while the iSheep enter the store?

Makes me sick!

Haha. Yeah im only 18 and I dont want to sign my own contract yet and my step mom owns the account and they dont live near me so its the only way I can get it.
 
This is another newb question, sorry. After watching both of the above posted vids, with exterior walk-around(s), neither mentions a proximity sensor. Is that because it is not there or too obvious to be worth mentioning? T.I.A.

Im actually gonna have them make me an authorized account holder, im 19...so...they should let me. It will stop the crap that happened earlier from happening..when I called *611, they would not let me do an upgrade so they had to call my dad, who was at work piloting a plane....so... it seems my mom is not even a "whatever its called."

When I call I just use my dads name because he is an authorized account holder.. I have permission from him of course
