Don't really know how much degrees the rotation is but you know when you rotate it to landscape mode and the physical back button and end call button is at the top instead of the bottom? and the LG logo is on the left? Yeah. That's what I meant. How do you make it rotate to only that side instead of that side and the opposite side where the back and end call buttons are on the left/bottom?

Hey guys I've run into another issue. When I try to download the EXE file for the upgrade, Norton kills it saying it has a WS.Reputation.1 virus. Is this just a Norton issue or is there really a problem. The download site seems to be a little fishy. It tries to launch a million popups, tries to trick you into pushing the wrong buttons, has an add bar that comes up from the bottom and if you push the close button it loads another popup, etc.
Is there an alternate way to get the file?

Nevermind. It's just Norton's over aggressive attempt to screen files. Their website says that it's a risk managment sceme that feels that since the file is not used by many people it is risky.

... I created the exe file myself, nothing's wrong with it. Neither is there anything wrong with MediaFire. The file is safe, I assure you
You just have to disable Norton Auto-protect for a little while

how do i access my sim card's storage? i synced my contacts to it from a non-android phone and I wanna edit them because they're outdated.

Oh and also, does anyone have a good keyboard apk? i personally prefer 2.2's keyboard over 2.3's cuz 2.3's is a little too crammed together for my fatty fingers. if you have a better one than 2.2, then I would also like to try that. thanks!

I like Ultra Keyboard because the skin looks pretty good and it's a really accurate keyboard. Slideit is also really good but it the skin doesn't match my phone and there's also Smart Keyboard & Swift Keyboard. Check them out.
I now have 2.3. Thanks again to Dude and everybody that works so hard on this thread.
Phone is working pretty well. The only serious issue is the talk to text feature. I'm way to fat fingered to type all I want to text to people. I think I remember reading that i can just redownload it from the market and reinstall and all will be well. I just can't remember what the feature is called.

antivirus pro lets you put a custom message on your lock screen, its not free but if you download applanet(free from 4shared or google it), it has loads of paid apps for free.

Hey guys,
I had Google voice search working but now it's dead again. To get it working the first time I installed it from the market but now it says it's installed but whenever I push the mic on the keyboard it just comes up with the red line through it and if I try the mic by the google search box it runs the circle a few times and then goes back to the screen as if I hadn't pushed the button. It's like the service isn't running.
Any ideas?
EDIT:
Well I finally got it working again. I had to download an old version, intall that which didn't work, it just failed and brought up the force quit button. Then I went back to the market which now said the service needed to be updated. I let it update and now it's working again. I hope this doesn't keep happening. What a pain!
EDIT AGAIN:
Okay, it seems that if I reboot the voice search quits and I have to go through the above procedure. Any ideas on why this might happen?
It would make things easier if I could just download the Voice Search from the market but it will only let me send it to the phone. Anybody have a copy of the voice search 2.1.1 apk setting around they can send me?
Or better yet, any ideas on how to keep it working?

Have you tried uninstalling it using Titanium backup, reboot, then downloading the new version of the market, reboot?
