Root splash ?? Koni Elite 3

I am being told that the fastboot doesn't work.

trying to get this inverted splash.

C:\android\tools>fastboot flash splash1 splash1.nb
sending 'splash1' (750 KB)... OKAY [ 0.370s]
writing 'splash1'... FAILED (remote: not allowed)

any ideas???

what hboot version do you have

to change your spash screen, ive always used the pc36img.zip method and letting hboot find it and update it automatically... have you tried this method?

Sorry guys, had to crash last night, worked early today.

I did end up using the zip method you mentioned.

I ended up with the file in the sd card folder instead of the root.

THanks for the replies!! I think next time I wont try new things so late at night.

Root of sd card and root folder are two diff things as you now know, when we say put it on the root we mean top level of sd card, not in a folder...
