Never seen anything like that. Connected to wifi here at home. Nothing new or unusual going on.

New to me. Wifi secure?

Unfortunately no. It was in the notification pull down and as soon as I presses it for more details it disapeared

Hey Guys,

I saw Mr. Ed's thread and wondered about an error I received in the notification bar that sais something about data streaming being slow, known issue and to contact sprint? Could that have been a hack?

Thanks,

Charles

Oh it was about a week ago. The wife had the same error on the notification bar a few days later. Mine is rooted hers is stock.

Hey Guys,

You know what that sounds like? It sounds like chrome2phone. When you highlight something, then send it from chrome, it has a notification icon, and says something about desktop clipboard copied.

I can't remember off the top of my head what that is, but somebody else can comment. If I had a minute, I'd go look it up. It's nothing to worry about.

That notification was initiated by amazon mp3. Sprint can push the streaming fix to phones rooted or not....it removes the proxies. Kind of silly that amazon added it in to the update...bit it is also silly that sprint hasn't pushed an update to ALL PHONES

As usual Akazabam and Mr. Ed are amazing. You guys are rock solid!

Thanks,

Charles

Ah, see, I knew that, but I couldn't remember the exact details. I figured you'd be around to finish that thought.

Mr. Ed, I just realized that I commented on your problem in a quote, accidentally, so you probably missed what I said. This is what I said above:

"You know what that sounds like? It sounds like chrome2phone. When you highlight something, then send it from chrome, it has a notification icon, and says something about desktop clipboard copied."

Gotcha....will try and duplicate it. Its possible my Google login was active at work.....but very unlike me to leave that logged in

Yeah, I agree that that it seems strange for it to be that. Just try this - assuming you use Chrome or Firefox, open whichever one you use, highlight some text, and use the extension to send it to your phone. See if the notification that pops up looks like the one you saw. You can also look at the chrome2phone history, and see if anything was sent to your phone yesterday.

indeed it was chrome to phone. it was my day off....one of the guys at work sent copied text ... interestingly enough we log out and shut down the pc's each night so it is odd that it was still logged in at reboot.

sorry to get everyone's hopes up :(

Hehe, if it were me, I'd have sent something a lot more fun than copied text :P.
