Accessories Dead...Droid X/X2 Verizon Essentials Pack on sale $19.97

FYI, Verizon has the Droid X/X2 Essentials Pack on sale on their website (not sure about in store). It is regularly $50, this week for the launch of the X2 it is on sale for $20.

The essentials pack includes:

  • Multimedia Dock
  • Vehicle Mount
  • Wall Charger
  • Vehicle Charger
  • HDMI Cable
I already have most of this, though I'm really tempted to get it just for the vehicle mount and to have a dock for my office. Also, if you go to the Verizon website directly (rather than using the link above or if the link above doesn't work for some reason), please note that you have to click the link for X2 accessories. It still shows up at full price if you click through to the Droid X.

A new wrinkle to this, I noticed this morning. I haven't ordered yet and still waffling, but I wanted to see if it was still active. Anyway, when I just went there, I had to add the bundle to my 'cart' before logging into the site. If I logged on first, then I got the $50 cost. If I placed it in the cart first, then it stayed as $20.
 
Got mine today as well. Went straight to the site and just clicked on the Droid X2 accessories and it is showing up at 19.99.

shoot...i already have the dock, and a car charger...and the vehicle mount...but for $20 this is a steal...can't hurt to have extras for that price...
 
.....^which is what I did in case I sell my DX1 and get the DX2. If I dont sell it I'll just have extras.

Well, it did say it was for a week and since the X2 launched on May 19, it's been a week, technically. Who knows when they actually started the promo; we only heard about it a couple of days ago. Sneaky bastards!
 
Yep, I got mine today as well. Definitely sweet. The multimedia dock feels surprisingly well built - now I can prop it up on my desk at work!
 
Mine is due tomorrow but I'm thinking about refusing delivery. I have a Body Glove case on mine and it didn't occur to me until AFTER I ordered it that it likely won't fit in the desk dock or car cradle. I already have upteen car and home chargers, so the only thing I would be getting out of it is the HDMI cable, which I have no idea what I would ever use it for. Oh well, such is life I suppose.

I can do that. Hell, I'd rather someone make use of it rather than Big Red put it back up for sale for $50. Send me a PM and we'll make arraignments.
 
For the 10 minutes of the day that my wife leaves the house to pick up my son from school, that's the exact time the FedEx guy decides to swing by! Doh! :eek: Gotta wait till tomorrow for my goodies now. :(
