Most if not all Blur has been removed......I think most people now prefer the Blur to be there......opposite of what it used to be ;)

And one of those is based off of the older released leaks of GB.
 
Which is which? and is there a list of the blur that was removed? can blur apps be added back into it if we wanted to?
 
Agreed with bouchigo... most people love the blur now... think lots of people just want some themes and some bloatware removed and they would be happy (and fix the screen battery consumption too)...
 
While Blur is worlds better in GB, it still isn't my cup of tea. Not sure I will be trying out the first new ROM's on .596, but I am tempted none the less.
 
You're supposed to tell ME of new roms and themes!!

I was going to say... I thought only Steven liked blur.... :D

I used to like roms with your choice of blur or aosp apps, now I don't care as long as I don't lose functionality. I'll take fast over blur any day.
 
So these theme by Drew Garen are much like Apex. They remove pretty much all the blur in Gingerbread. O'k, I can see the appeal for some but why would you want to remove blur anyway? Isn't it the big hot selling point to Gingerbread?
 
What blur are you guys talking about? Blur Launcher? What part of Blur is good for you guys?

Most of the forced apps can be downloaded from market. Some of them are quite useful too. Having the forced on you is the problem. Not the apps themselves. I'd rather have a clean slate and max performance to start off of.

On topic: Hateraid is a very cool mod (especially after a factory reset). Drew Garen's roms have always been quick and Hateraid, Mahi, Lexlite do not disappoint. It's nice to see him stick with the DX too.
 
Some of you guys that have flashed these and have been on them for some time should go review them in the review thread! so we can all make nice and informed decisions :)
