Root Rooted Evo, Google Maps Update issues

Problem: Can not update Google Maps in my market. Wondering if anyone else has these issues or has any input?

not sure about mikg, i looked on the changelog and could not find the market on there. a lot of roms have a themed market and they removed the market update file. it is responsible for updating the market. when it updates it breaks any theming that was done. i forget if mikg has a themed market or not. is there a reason why you want the latest market?

If you are running MikG v2.1, this rom has the most up to date Maps. It should be 5.6
