Yeah I flashed back to sense because I needed more battery life. Now every-time I use my phone it I think of something CM7 did better and it makes me mad, lol. Like that little cursor handle thing for the keyboard, or kill app on long press of back button, $@#*, I miss that...

there is a wifi bug in the CM7 rom, it's affects MOST CM7 roms, not just this one specific one. This is what is eating your battery.

With this in mind, using this rom to it's fullest potential will require you to set up tasking events with an app like tasker.

I get the same, if not better battery life with this rom vs the stock based roms. I've never been one to leave unneeded interfaces active. I had some battery drain when I first started working on it but after I reset the battery stats in the recovery with the battery full and calibrating it improved greatly.

Unfortunately my battery drained so fast even after I cleared battery stats... after having this rom and dealing with the minor bugs and the battery drain I said screw it and went back to the sense rom.. this is a great rom and I love it but MY battery life was horrible :-(

Reppard, without asking for an ETA, how close do you think this is to graduating to a full and final release?

I'm still having issues with certain apps not working and I can't seem to get MMS to work either for some reason... Not a big deal but I'm not sure what else I can do.

Ive been taking a break from the dev stuff for a little bit but I will get back to work on this project soon. What are the major fixes you guys would like to see in the next update? I know Bluetooth needs some work. GPS is probably going to stay right where it is because I've tried everything to get agps working to no avail. This is a common complaint with alot of cm7 roms as far as I have seen. Thoughts, comments, questions?

is it possible to fix were certain apps can only run when install on phone, would like to move more stuff to the sd card.

If you are using an ext partition then technically everything you install on the phone is going to your ext and is in fact on your sdcard. So this will likely not change. Take a look at /sd-ext to get a visual of what I am saying.

So we are going to have to make use of this feature? I haven't yet because I only have a 2 gig card and its jammed full and I'm lazy, lol...

do i have to make the ext3 partition on my sd card before i flash the rom or can it still be made after roms already flashed.

It can be made after flashing a rom but backup your card on your computer because it does delete stuff. Also test every application and the ones that don't work while on the card have to be moved back to the phone memory

the ONLY thing I can think of is the bluetooth... even though I hardly use a bluetooth headset, I just use it for sending audio to my computer... which works just fine anyways! :)

key backlight is a non issue for me
screen is a non issue for me
AGPS is a non issue for me
Bluetooth works good enough for me :p

I don't have an issue with in call volume. Seems to be proximity sensor lag, but I think that's a cm7 thing along with the Bluetooth and landscape issue. Hopefully.gingerbread will be out in the next couple weeks as an official release on the optimus line and that way well have a cleaner source to either port or compile from

No the lag on the proximity sensor is not the cm7.
It is from setting the screen off cpu scaling down too far. if the cpu scaling with screen off isnt lower then 320mhz there is no lag. I found lots of lag set at 122mhz and minimal lag set at 245mhz
