Yes, they are. I felt the same way and have posted as such.No i don't have any privileged info in demo colors, just have read on the internets. hey ruben, isn't the bravo the same resolution as the nexus? sense should port easily for resolution, but function is where the concern is. i have never been happy with flashing devices, something is ALWAYS amiss.

That's my same concern with rooting / flashing to get some of the additional functions. I don't even know anything about flashing a new ROM onto a phone except the stuff I've read, but it always sounded like something where not every single base will be covered as if you were using what was provided by a manufacturer.
On the Bravo subject, I'm still concerned with the RAM specs that are being stated. Some sites still say 256mb RAM, and I know others have said it was supposedly bumped to 320mb RAM. Either way, that's still less than the N1, and once the N1 gets some updates to more adequately use all of its available RAM, it would hypothetically always outperform the Bravo. I know the specs are still questionable as there has been nothing totally official, beyond the leaked roadmap. We'll see...
All this considered, there's still the question of if it will come to Verizon and in a timely fashion. I hope so, more options is always a good thing. I'm so turned off of the N1 just because of the whole purchasing process and risky lack of support if you have issues. If it was available in stores I'd definitely buy it over the Bravo as long as it beat it out with specs. Sense sounds nice, but it also sounds like it has it's good and bad vs regular android w/ no overlay.
For all the RAM people are still complaining about home screen lag on the N1. Though in reality the only outperformance, if there was any, would be in number of apps running at the same time. I suppose that might mean something if you spend most of your day on your phone and are an overly addicted app freak. Other then that I don't know if your normal Incredible user will notice the difference.
WHAT?! The phone isn't letting you use all of it...? SO confused. :SYeah, but we know right now that Android is in need of a kernel update to address more of the 512MB of RAM on the N1. It was confirmed by Google. As a matter of fact, reports are that there's less available RAM on the Nexus One than the Droid.

Thats why I like Sense. It at least seems to be optimized for the phone. Its biggest problem is been that its stuck on 528mhz chips for the last several releases (though the Hero line seemed to get faster with each release).
But here's a question. Which would you rather have, more RAM or multitouch out of the box? Sense phones come with some multi touch by default. The N1 (us version) does not (I know the N1 is capable of multitouch). Not to mention the Incredible (assuming verizon version of the Bravo) will dual LED flash (as opposed to single in the N1) and Divx support where as the N1 will have the noise cancellation feature. Then its personal preferences, soft keys vs hard, trackball vs optical.
In-store support?! HA! I went in to ask about my former ERIS not syncing on its own, and the man gave me a sheet of DROID websites. He couldn't even find the settings either. He was looking in system settings instead of MAIL SETTINGS.I was just reading another thread in the Nexus One section about someone's horror story with a phone that died after 10 days (what with all the HTC support headaches). Another UK guy in the thread I remember raving about the phone a week ago was also chiming in on his rather miserable experience with a recent hardware issue and trying to get it fixed/replaced. I'm starting to think it's the Incredible or nothing. Unless Verizon handles the Nexus One differently from the HTC/Google/T-Mobile debacle, I think I'm crossing it off my list. I have to be able to walk into a store to take care of any problems I might have with a new phone.

Why would Verizon support something themselves that they'll get very little cash on?
Verizon doesnt sell cell phones brah. If the nexus one and the Incredible sell the same numbers... Verizon will get the same kickback and that is all..... So why would they support any phone? Its google's doing
Oh. I see. Yes, Verizon is very very good at replacing your hardware same day.
Yes. Like in October.can someone let me know if the nexus 1 picture was leaked BEFORE it became official, thanks
Rrriiigggghhhtttt. I guess I was lost on the blackberry store when I bought my storm and confused over all those Motorola paid ads for the Droid. I mean since Verizon doesnt sell phones they wouldn't have need of stores or ads for phones.
can someone let me know if the nexus 1 picture was leaked BEFORE it became official, thanks
Did i miss something? ^snip "the good news is that next week, its got to be official"
Do we have news coming?
