Same here. And I think I can safely say that Nightly 10 has been working fine for me. The only problem I might be getting is that if I'm in an area with crappy data service. And occasionally, the news & weather widget loses either the weather or news tabs. Both are fixed with a simple reboot and occur infrequently.

Gonna wait until they add in a lot of other things before I update.

But then you may have to perform a wipe. Just a warning :)
 
Hey all,

I'm having some activation problem with my Droid X.

I just installed Cyanogenmod by SBFing down and then installed Cyanogenmod7 via CWM.

Anyway.. I tried to activate via *228 and then hit 1 on the keyboard. THen it prompts me to enter a phone number. After doing that, it wanted to transfer my call to a live rep.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to install that monster patch? I didn't do that since I didn't use P3's file to get to cyanogenmod.

Ideas? Please help as this is my only phone!!!

EDIT: Could it be because I have weak reception? I only see 1 bar or no bar. Can't see if I'm on 3G or not.

I had this happen to me while I was inside a building that pretty much killed my reception completely.
I received the identical automated message.
I had to perform activation 5 times before it went through for me.

Try it over again until it goes through.
Step outside if you're still having problems and see if that fixes things for you.

Thanks for the reply! Im going to try it again in the morning. I actually tried doing *22899 which automatically sent me to activation. I finally heard the music in the background but it still failed.

If it still doesn't work. I'm going to start from scratch.

1% increments still don't work on 15, despite being in the changelog. I read that someone is working on it.

Why can't they just focus on the camcorder? I feel like that is the biggest issue left.
 
Im on nightly #14 but I had to install the camera&mms fix on it the build still....Any clue as into why, when I thought that issue was fixed in this build??
 
I took my phone off the charger yesterday morning and before putting it on the charger this morning my battery was at 32% after 24 hours 20 minutes of slightly less than average use for me. I'm using QCA to set the clock speeds the same as stock but lower than stock voltages.
 
I'm going to have to find another nightly to flash. I'm on #7 currently. Went to be at midnight with 40% battery left. Woke up at 6 and the phone was powered off and the battery was completely discharged. Previous night, similar situation 30% left, dead in the morning. I figured Ti Backup was trying to run it's weekly Tuesday/Wednesday morning system backup and died. Ti Backup was not running at all last night. I've got AutoStarts installed and literally have 7 processes running after boot.

O rly? What about battery life, gps, and stock mms/sms not working? Ive been away for a week, and it seems like everyone is talking about the same old problems.

I will sit back and watch as I enjoy Liberty.

My battery life has leveled off fairly good. I'm getting about 20 - 24 hrs on stock battery. Not one single reboot (knock on wood), and I've flashed about every nightly along the way, skipping just a couple.

GPS has been working fine since (not sure which build...) same goes for mms as of the last several builds, it's been fixed. Sms has never been an issue.

Edit: Camera has still been an issue but there has been a patch to correct that which you can flash after each nightly. Camcorder & HDMI are the only non working items I'm aware of.
