Root Frequently losing app links while using a2sd

I tried that market fix zip and it screwed my phone up. All of my internal memory was gone (0 mb). I had to wipe and reflash the rom. I've been installing apps 1 by 1 from the market instead TB restore and my internal mem still drops. I'm down to about 37% now with only about 53 apps installed. I have 700+mb of room in my ext3 partition. It seems to me that the stock a2sd is being used.
yeah that is to bad. hopefully the next nightly help fix it.
it depends on the dev, but it looks like it is almost everyday or other day. i know there is a 7/14 release. and as far as the synergy updater, it is used for any updates that are uploaded there. it also has some themes and mods. last time ichecked it was only for a black lock ring.

I've been reading up on a bunch of the sense 3.0 roms or hybrids. I still like synergy-kingdom, but it does have a few drawbacks (can't get a2sd to work but might try wiping and installing dta2sd, force closes (can I use RA's fix permissions?), large size that takes up much of internal mem). I was thinking about trying out either MikG v2.4 or Kings Alliance (looks very cool). With these newer roms, can I continue using my netarchy toastmod kernel? If you decide to use a theme associated with a rom, can I just flash it after flashing the rom itself or do I need to boot up the rom first, let it settle and then flash it through recovery?

well fixing permissions might help with any fc's you are having associated with apps.
i am actually having some issues with syn-kingdom rom's a2sd as well. there a few apps that i can't for the life of my have it installed. so i'm back to virus's kingdom 1.3.
yeah i just download those roms as well. im thinking of try one of those tonight.
as far as kernels go, we only have the stock kernel to use. you can try the netarchy kernel, but you will most likely have issues with your rom.
and as far as themes go, the best thing to do is flash your rom then boot up and sign in. then go back into recovery and make a nandroid then flash the theme. that way if you do not like it, you can go back and start over.
I tried the netarchy kernel and you're right, I had problems all over the place so I wiped everything and reflashed syn-king. I'm going to try flashing DT or play around with other stuff more to see if I can get a2sd to work. Is Kingdom 1.3 your rom of choice? How is it?
so far it is my only daily i have. i love it and the a2sd works flawlessly. and if you want themes for it here you goThemes and Mods for Virus's Kingdom rom

it does not have the synergy updater, the sense 3.0 camera or the cool lockscreen weather animation. but it has the cool carousel rosie and it is super fast. i have not seen one issue. all though the themes seem to slow the rom down a bit so i have stayed away from them. they are pretty cool looking though.

RLS1 came out from King today
If I have my choice, I would flash MiKingdom or Sac's v9. Both are more stable imo
But if you're choosing between the 2 you listed, I would go with Synergy Kingdom

I'll keep those 2 in mind thanks! Are those listed in the roms sticky? Are they 2.1/3.0 hybrids? I want to give king-alliance a chance.
I have syn-king on my phone right now. I like it, but the amount of internal mem it takes up is a downer and I can't get a2sd to work right with it. I may go back to it later though as I like the sense 3.0 features.
like andy said sca v9 is nice as well. i do like syn-kingdom and i also was have a2sd issues as well with it. i have not tried the kinged kingdom rom yet. going to give that one a go today. i have not tried mikingdom yet. shhsh! too may roms to try. lol

I've been playing around with king alliance today and it's nice. I like the speed a lot and the ample internal mem. I don't what it is, but I'm having app issues with this as well. I loaded up 75+ apps from TB and eventually I wasn't able to load anymore. Installation was unsuccessful even though I had 300mb of internal mem and 600+mb of ext3 mem. I tried using a2sd reinstall and a2sd cachesd, but that turned into my sd card showing up as unmounted in TB and Quick Sys Info. The weird thing is my apps were still working.
you know what was weird is that when i went back to the virus's kingdom rom 1.3 all of my apps appeared back on my sd card ext3. i then flashed to the kinged kingdom 1.7 rom and boom a2sd works and i even tried the alliance rls1 and it works there as well. so not sure what happened. maybe titanium backup does not work with a2sd. weird.
ocnbrze, I reflashed kings alliance w/o wiping sdext and everything seems to be working thus far. The apps I have were mainly restored through TB the first time around. I'll stick this one out for a while and see how it works. I really like the snappiness of this rom. How's Kings 1.7? How does it compare to Syn-King?
