Confusing isn't it - unlock the phone FIRST, then plug the USB in, if this still doesn't work, with the phone unlocked, unplug and plug the USB back in - you will then see connection, debugging, mass storage options. I advise you unplug the actual USB end, not the end going into the phone, that way you don't "wear" out the socket doing this.

This has worked for me from nightly #33-40, only confirmed on XP Pro & Home Edition, not sure if the OS has an effect.

Thanks for the response i had gotten it figured out....i noticed my computers would recognize the phone but just for a split second, it just ended up working for me one day......fwiw im still running/loving this rom very very very stable and zippy

Anyone here still running this ROM?

I need something new to flash. Im on stock .596 rooted and I hate it. Wish there were more GB roms floating around.

only bugs i have so far are the mms messages but thats corrected with the fix in the first post i made
and apparently i havent tested this yet, but when on wifi you cannot send mms messages, but im sure i was able to receive them cause i woke up with a picture message. but i will find more about that when i get home and on my wifi
 
that may be a bug, i was able to receive, i havent tested the sending, cause when i get home my phone goes on wifi and doesnt get off til i go to work the next morning, or leave my house for any particular reason
 
i find it very nice, its a well written rom, to have had an error and then been rebuilt from scratch and put out in a few days, its well worth it, with every rom you have some bugs, this is just one of them, but can easily be fixed once the bug has been located, and a solution worked around it.
 
I need something else to flash. Data and wifi keep dropping (latest nightly). Could not even download apps from the market. (Others are having this too, but maybe not as much as me.)

I still love SSX....really stable for me no reboots...it is the smoothest rom i have run so until i see a drastic change with a new rom im content
