Root i need a new rom to use..

So i have been on Liberty 0.8 for about a few days now. . and i must say its pretty boring and dull

i had MIUI before but there latest update was terrible so i flashed to .596 then liberty

i tried Apex2.0 as well but didn't like it either

anyone want to give me a STABLE / GOOD Rom?
that allows me to have
1. full screen camera
2.Backup Assistance
3.alot of customization

post some roms for me to try and please tell me if there on .596 or .340

Just .596. I always come back to it. Nothing else excites me.
 
They will all bore you eventually. I love to see people who say they barely use their phones go crazy spending hours or even days customizing their phones. Why bother if their not using them. That being said I find DarkslideX more functional than straight rooted .596. Faster and more customizable. Also Liquid2.6 is very sweet and the battery life is better than the other 2nd-init roms,esp w v6 script enabled.
 
I agree with stephen, with 2.3.3 the stock rom is very nice, overclockable, and if deodexed, themeable. If you like blur, use it, if you don't, install Launcherpro or another launcher and just use the stock android widgets.
 
I am on Darkslide as well and like it. Of course, I get occasional reboots, but that is nothing, I have been getting those from the days of stock Froyo and with every rom I've used as well. Must be something built into the Motorola system some where :eek:
 
Oh. Ha ha. You want BA. Then darkslide is great. I don't get reboots with any rom, but I generally SBC and start fresh for any new Rom. Before the sbf I also wipe data, cache, dalvik cache AND format system which clears out any leftover junk from other Roms. Them you have a trite blank canvas on which to" paint" froyo.
 
lol, how do you guys need a new rom? we have many for our DX's now, theres not much else we can get lol, what are you guys hoping to see?
 
Something different. Am hoping to see more GB based ROM's. The 2nd init ones are ok, but battery life is lame.

Not much going on with GB you know?

Looking forward to a new phone anyways, just dont want another contract with VZW. Too expensive. May have to wait for Ice Cream Sandwich I suppose.
 
im currently waiting for ICS, i have 2 phones i can upgrade, but at the same time i need to wait as i dont have alot of money :p

Right there with ya brother.

Id like to get the Bionic, but the fact that its only 1 gig dual core makes me say pass. I would preferably like a quad core phone, but may settle for a 1.2 to 1.5 gig dual core. Meh, I dunno lol.
 
Another suggestion to use Darkslide X from me. I'm loving it. Fast, Stable, Good battery life, and it's pretty :)
