This ROM is built from CM7 nightlies and MIUI.US MIUI translation

NOTES:
You MUST be on CyanogenMod 7 or Moto Stock Gingerbread to flash this rom!
Remember to wipe before flash!

This is a little long overdue , but I was busy with school :)

YOU MUST Go to Tools> Superuser > Menu> Setting> and activate Root

This is an excellent ROM if for no other reason than it introduces the first non-CyanogenMod/carrier/manufacturer framework overhaul of Android 2.3.5 and boy what an overhaul.

it is not the updated version, so im going to msg steven and let him know, this is the version with the battery problem
 
The link leads to 1.9.16.1, even though their page hasn't been updated. I'll update this page. I know because I've installed it and that's what the system info is telling me.
 
I haven't spent more than 5 minutes on miui for froyo, so I'm a froyo newb. However, I'm setting this up, now. It's very interesting.
 
Have they fixed the issue of getting a hot boot after using the screen capture? I read they were working on a fix but don't know if it has been updated yet. Anybody have any issues with this build yet?
 
It was available for the Nook Color tablet, but most of us refused to try it since it used softkeys for menu, back, etc. instead of the nice tablet tweaks buttons that CM7 had.

Since the X has hard button, I might decide to try it for laughs and giggles.

I assume this is based on CM7 so has the camera that doesn't do panoramic pics. :D
 
Alarm clock doesn't seem to work. Force closes every time I try to set time. Awesome now I have to sbf back to froyo and reinstall 1.9.9 I guess,lol.


Edit: Rebooted and now it is working. At least Im able to set alarm time, hope it works in the morning!!

my alarm clock works just fine...
 
i give it a yay, but any airplane mode bugs found need to get the update, i will ask steven to update his current post with the link to the bug stomper.

somehow the airplane mode bug fix got overwritten with the battery fix, but its been included now, and if you dont have time to redownload the rom, check out the bug stomper fix

Gosh so wait. Its got the airplane mode bug? But the bug stomper fix cures that?

Sorry I am working on little sleep. May have to wait till later to flash so I dont mess anything up.

it might, some may have downloaded the version that had the bug still, but they updated the download to now include it, but for those who just need the fix they can download it, instead of redownloading the rom again

So I just downloaded 1.9.16.1. Should I be ok?

Should I mount system for the install?

yes since last night, its very nice so far, make sure once its installed, go to tools, superuser, hit your menu button, settings, and enable root.

You only need to mount system if the mod/Rom doesn't do it in the install script. Most mount it for you, but I always mount system just in case the script doesn't call for mounting system (not all mods require system to be mounted, but some do) this way I don't have to go through all the steps again to install the mod in case the script didn't mount the system :D
