Well I guess we should know the name of the phone soon.;)
But here are some of the names that have been floating around;
Nexus Prime
Droid Prime
Samsung Prime
Galaxy Prime
Galaxy Nexus

I'm 90% sure that it will inclued the name Prime.:rolleyes:

What is this Scammer suppose to reveal on tweeter anyway ? . . just random info, or has he specified on what exactly he will reveal ?

I highly highly doubt that a 3d screen will be put on this phone.

the only thing that I always thought that would be but wasn't confirmed was that it would have an 8megapixel instead of a 5 as all the rummers were saying.

And from the supposedly new info that we have gotten seems that this is true

I have to agree with you on the 3D screen. It's a novelty that was tried, but I think that it's sill a feature that will define the phone at this time.

more MPs doesn't mean better quality.

Correct. The quality of the sensor is what you want to be superior. The larger MP only means a larger image size when viewed at 100%.

We like larger MP's because we can crop a section of the image and still have a usable size compared to a smaller MP image.

When we see folks posting images from a camera to show its quality, is it a 100% crop? Or is it a reduced image to fit the screen?

Only a 100% crop is a valid quality test. And even some high end cameras will suffer @ 100%. Its according the the lens quality as well as the sensor quality and possessing hardware.

Some really picky photographers will use a loupe.

As a photographer what I want from a phone camera is sensor quality and low light performance. As for size, I'll just have to get as close as I can according to what I am capturing.

I am seeing some great low light results coming from Samsung phones. I hope it continues into the Prime.

Very informative post for those like myself that don't know anything about cameras. I love gadgets but I never really got into photography. I've always wanted to but never followed through. But thanks for the explanation. I've been holding out for a new phone for a little bit as I haven't been too impressed with any in particular but this one has been catching my eye with everything I read about it.

A Twitter Poem: Next Nexus Leaked With Specs, Details, And Launch Info | TechCrunch

This guy is calling out Tom Fleming as a douchebag.

True, I'm a little annoyed by the whole not-going-to-release-any-info-til-I--get-1000-followers-and-then-when-I-do-I'm-still-going-to-make-you-wait-three-hours thing, but who cares. The guy doesn't have to release any info if he doesn't want to, and besides, once the November 3 thing leaked, everything else was just extra noise.

It's funny, though.

Edit: The only thing that bothered me about the Bears losing was that the Bears lost. Stupid O-line! They're going to kill our QB this year. He's on pace for 88 sacks!

Edit #2: And is it me, or does this Tom Fleming royally suck at prose?

"Fore on the date Bruce Wayne

Personally, I don't like to be played with. Being self-employed I don't stand for it in real life and I don't have to stand for it in the Android world. I'm not paying attention to or following anyone who strings me along playing games. I don't have the time or the patience.

I find this twitter game repugnant.

So, looks like the end of that poem was just put up...

But as he lays in the corner with a Beer and a boner the Panda said with a sigh... (who cares)

Be it a Droid or Nexus branded new toy, with dual cores

Wow ya'll...considering all we have to this point is speculation, I'm surprised the poem, and it's trickled release, upset so many of you. It's good information from a credible source. So someone had some fun...this is such a minor thing to get so worked up about IMO. I for one appreciate the leaked info and know I can now put my complete focus on Prime and filter out the other stuff.

I do find it odd black_man_x went a little crass with the ending. And more importantly, I sure wish the whole keyboard thing was more clear. Will all versions have keyboards? I sure hope like hell VZW/Droid Prime does not have a stinking keyboard!

I know, the Douche went a little crass. I'm very disappointed in that. What if kids were following this?

As for the keyboard thing, the fact that he says "The one with the keyboard is what I enjoy” makes me think that not all will have it.

If VZW's version has the keyboard, I'm out. I hate those damn things. And I will be so pissed at Verizon that I will use my 4g to download 8 GIG torrents 24/7, even though I will delete them as soon as I'm finished!!!
:mad::mad::mad:

But I doubt that will happen. Verizon can't be that stupid, can they?

Oh boy, I hope the vzw one doesn't have a keyboard.

THAT is a deal breaker for me. Completely worthless and makes the phone thicker than it needs to be, especially if they plan on increasing battery capacity.

More and more, I'm beginning to think I did the right thing getting the Charge almost 4 months ago because it has been great and it may be sticking with me well into 2012. Pentile, bloatware, and now a keyboard is starting to seem not worth the money. Guess we'll see in another month or so what plays out.
