Root Stuck in S-OFF Help!!!!

ok so you need to read this:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html. in the before root section. it is the second thing mentioned that you need to do before trying to root. my suggestion is to read the guide completely before moving on. of course we are here to help you if you need it.

ok I was able to install everything correct i think.But now I get a black box that pops up from rev. that says , found your device pc36100<supersonic 2.10.0001, android 2.3.3, rom version 4, your device supersonic,with hboot 2.10.0001 is not supported at this time. What does that mean ?Wow another road block!!!! I know Im asking alot of questions but i just dont know where to turn.Plus Im learning a heck of alot from you guys !!!

ok so sorry to put you through revoultionary. i assumed(my mistake) that you took the gingerbread ota and it upgraded you. so you have s-off with hboot 2.10. can you get to recovery? in the hboot screen, there should be an option for recovery. what happens when you select it?
ok so you are rooted then. all you have to do is flash a rom and you are all set. try mikg2.55

first of all dont use rom manager. Ocnbrze told me that it causes alot of bugs and ive learned from my experiences... just go to theMikMik - The Front Page and download the rom from there
yeah rom manager is very buggy, DO NOT USE IT. also check the superuser app. sometimes it will deny rooted apps access. there should be list of apps that has been allowed or denied access to the system partitions. you can just select the denied apps and then select allow. another thing you can try is to wipe dalvik cache and cache as well. or flash another rom like mikg2.55
guys i cant flash any roms.... I guess im not completely rooted.Remember i unrooted to get ota,maybe root never gets wiped off.Thats why i started this whole thing. S-OFF BUT NO ROOT. wiped dalvik and cache and tried super user but nothing.I dont know if its possible to get the S-ON back.somehow and then reroot. ???????????
when you say you tried super user what happened? you can flash a rom if you have a recovery and s-off.
edit:lets have you try and get this rooted 4.53 rom flashed:
1.download this:http://dev-host.org/yy5mpaxe7xee/4.53.651.1_Rooted_Odexed_Signed.zip
2.tranfers it to your card. do not put it in any folder, just on the card
3.go into recovery
4.wipe data,dalvik cache, and cache
5.select flash zip from card
6.find you file using the vol up and down buttons and select it
7.reboot
and lets see if that worked.
and you did this through recovery correct? if so then it sounds like a bad download. try re-downloading it again.
