I asked the cashier his phone was the Incredible. He said, "Oh no, It's just the iPhone." I liked that. "Just the iPhone!" As if the Incredible was something considered better. :D

I had a student, today, told me how excited about the iPhone 5 announcement tomorrow. I told him that all we had were rumors. Some rumors said it may be an updated iPhone 4. He didn't like that. I proceeded to tell about the Nexus Prime. ;)
 
I wish I could just pass out for a week. This week is slow and there's nothing going on. Do i really have to go through it? Can't I just wake up in time for Samsung's Google episode? Ugh.

I haven't said anything in here all day. This thread will get us through to next week. :cool:

That is hilarious. I was thinking about this not long ago. Somewhere there is a thread of Apple peeps doing exactly what we are now, except about the Iphone5...or 4, whichever they announce.

If the week is so slow, you can! We'll wake you up exactly a week from right now, so you can enjoy just enough of the anticipation leading up to the announcement.

Me? I have a busy workweek. Makes next week seem a LONG way off.

Good point. I've work is well which is why I said I wish. Plus I would miss this awesome thread and any leaks.

I actually want to try out the iphone5 before I pick up my prime. I want to see how well they have implemented various android features, such as the notification bar.

I'm assuming apple has made it look amazing and fluid... the OG droid just doesn't do amazing and fluid anymore haha

Oh, I will totally try the iphone5. Just not in the way that I would consider it over the prime--even if the prime is only half what we expect. Probably stream the apple event tomorrow to. Just fun to watch tech on both sides progress.

I've never really put an iphone through its paces so I'm not interested in that now but I am interested in new tech. If not for competition, we may not be talking about a Prime with possibly amazing specs.
 
Well my work day tomorrow was cancelled this afternoon due to equipment failure so I was given the day off so I guess I will watch the Apple event for a good laugh...there is going to be some very unhappy Apple zombies tomorrow when they see the new amazing iPhone 4S and not a new amazing iPhone 5 unless you are a Sprint customer....:eek:

What will they do:confused:

Know how us Verizon people felt when we had the rug pulled out from under us on the SGII announcement is what they will feel like...
 
Well... we could talk about the Stratosphere! It comes out Thursday! OOOOH

I followed that thing since vaporware until I found out it was a slider. I am quite done with sliders, thank you.

But really, there's little else to talk about for the next five days except fruits and sliders... :rolleyes:
 
My main reason for wanting to upgrade my EVO4G, which i love is simply the screen size...I know the GS2 and Prime are hardly bigger, but it really does appear different. As for the iPhone5...4 inch screen is a step backwards for me.

But as for leaving Sprint, that will never happen. My plan just cant be touched by Verizon...now if they offered me a price match, I'd jump ship rt away for the Prime.
 
You should call Verizon and ask them. They may surprise you!

EDIT: Never mind. I forgot about their doggone tiered data plans. I HIGHLY doubt they'd waive that whole deal. Sorry.

Stock may be "boring" to some. But at this point, what does TouchWiz, Sense, Blur, and all of the other UI enhancements add that Android hasn't already implemented?

sprint's plans are definitely better (i'm on sprint now with an evo4g), but i'm just scared about these future changes (network vision). 4G wimax was supposed to be the next best thing since sliced bread, yet it's so shitty it can't penetrate buildings. i haven't been able to use it once in a year and a half indoors. but my friends that have LTE on VZW have no problems with it. so if their network vision is as effective as their wimax, i can't seriously consider signing a 2 yr contract with them, even if the epic 4g touch is orgasmic. that's why i'm considering leaving sprint for VZW and getting either the vigor or prime.
 
My favorite part of this thread, I'm one of the few from the first few pages that has read every single post made from page 1 to (Currently) 48. Awesome? Yup. Embarrassing? Probably. Ready for the Prime or SGSII HD LTE? Abso-friggin-lutely.
