I understand that some people are hesitant to be positive due to being burned by Verizon several times in the past, but WHY do some users (not mentioning names) insist on being NEGATIVE?

Taking rumors with bated breath is smart, you don't have to embrace them, but why go out of your way to knock or even discredit them? It sounds like some of you don't want anything good to come out of this release.

So, Verizon being Verizon, they wouldn't want a nexus device. I wouldn't think. Don't they like to control the software that's released on their network? I'm not saying anyone isn't credible anymore. I'm just keeping my expectations very low.

The iPhone and OG Droid were both vanilla.

We have established that there are LADIES on this forum......re: the "three dots"???? It's BLING, baby...it's BLING for us babes!! Deal with it fellas. ....

You're scaring me, gramma. You're just .. just scaring me. :p

Edit: Thread stickied as the section has more threads.

To those saying Verizon won't have the nexus prime...what are your thoughts on the cellebrite listing as "SCH-i515 Nexus Prime"?
Seems to me as pretty good evidence for at least a verizon prime

Good point. I think 10/11 will be a nice day for those of us who are VZW customers.

Yea but this phone looks paper thin! How on earth are they going to fit an LTE chip in there? All the LTE phone on vzw are much thicker then what the Prime is shaping up to look like.

I'm with you sean. That pic is more than likely the i9250/GSM model.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Just because past phones were bulkier, does that AUTOMATICALLY discredit this being the Verizon phone?

I say yes UNLESS they are using the 2nd gen LTE radio (highly unlikely at this time) or this other chip/radio (forgot the name of it) that is smaller and more efficient.

Samsung is going to snatch them up. I'm mobile right now and cannot remember where I saw the article but it essentially said that it would be ready for sampling in Q3

Well looking at your post above about how the Cellebrite photos have been shopped before, I think you are just being extremely negative.

Again, it's one thing to be cautious about being optimistic but remaining hopeful, and a completely different thing to view every possible "good news" as being fake or the non-Verizon version. Maybe you should just switch carriers if you are so unhappy with their service?

P3Droid:
Any says prime is delayed till next year just tell them to stfu...they are full of it.

And:
Yeah November is not a delay..if a blog ir website says prime is delayed tell them to stfu as well. Its all bs...

Could you explain me what does it mean? I just don't understand it - these two words "stfu", and "bs".

If you are kidding, let's not. If you are not, look it up for yourself, online, as they are profanities and against site policy. Thanks! :)

We are all in the same boat and I'm hoping for the best just as much as you are. Apologies if I'm coming across as negative. Its just that a lot of us have been through these rodeos before. Have you noticed nowadays a lot of the tech sites add their "grain of salt" to the articles? There has been this surge in bad info this past year for some odd reason. Seems like the only good info coming from leaks is on the Motorola side and even that had its share of problems.

I tried my best to make a little comparison chart of the profiles of some popular android phones. *FYI* THIS IS NOT PERFECTLY ACCURATE AND IS BALLPARKED** I just looked up height dimensions and tried to keep the ratio that way. so they are in order by height.
Nexus s 123.9mm
GSII 125.3mm
Bionic 127.5mm
Charge 130mm
Nexus Prime 130mm+?? maybe??

You can really see how thin this phone is. thinner than gsII at it thinnest point.

Oh, ok, sorry. I thought it's not anything wrong. I'm not so good in english to catch up all shorts.
But I want you to tell me the meaning of this sentences, in normal, polite language. How can I find explanations of such shorts?

EDIT: Ok, I just made it. Thanks.

Wow, it is thin! I hope I don't break it in my pocket! I'm currently using the Sherman Tank of smartphones, the DX. Big difference. ;)

Wow, looking at it like it, that is a bit of an extreme curve...

How will it fit comfortably in the pocket??

I really hope this phone does not let me down.

I need this phone on AT&T and i need it to have LTE.... otherwise no deal and im going to burry my head in a pillow and cry.

You're going to have to wait awhile for it to come to ATT I feel. Although, I don't know why anyone would pick that network unless work paid for the line.
