Root LG Ally totally bricked, can't boot past blue fastboot screen

My wife is getting her D3 in the mail today, so I wiped her Ally and attempted to restore the nandroid I made before installing Velocity 1.1. I got an error about the MD5 sum and it didn't flash. I rebooted the phone and it went straight to the blue fastboot screen.

Not able to boot to anything, and the alternative v6 restore method isn't working for me on my Windows 7 machine (I can't get past the step with the VS750.dll).

Anybody able to help unbrick?

You did!

Thanks!

All I needed was to be told how to manually boot into CWM from a powered-off state. I couldn't find it in any of the threads that everybody likes to link to.

I'm having a similar issue. How do you boot into CWM from a powered off state?

With the phone off hold Call, Menu, and Call End keys until it boots to recovery mode. It will take a few secs.

Thanks. I was stuck in fastload bootloop. Im not sure what I did to get there. I was messing with the terminal emulator. It may have something to do with the upgrade, boot sound, or the screen resolution. I played with all three. I ended up just flashing back. :/
