A couple reports have Verizon replacing the charge with the prime. Out well before the price drop.

??? I'm confused. Did I miss something (which is possible) This is a link for the Iphone launch. Just FYI this is the Nexus Forum. :D

Yeah, like I just said, I'm not drawing the connection the claim that the Prime announcement is coming this friday and Verizon's iPhone 4S launch...

This was my point. Friday is a big day. I think verizon has to get this out of the way. We (primers) are next.

No trolling here. I hate apples. I used to do blackberries but now I'm android all the way. Eris to Incredible to Prime.
 
Who thinks that the delay is caused by the release of the iPhone 4S on VZW on the 14th? Maybe the deal VZW made with Apple prevents them from upstaging an Apple phone during release?

Just thinking out loud................

ive read every single post in this entire thread. started on page 1 back when the samsung function thread got closed haha

my job allows me to constantly be on my phone.

Let's hope you're right. But don't you think the Prime would get swallowed up in the iHype?

I could see that with Verizon, but that shouldn't change Samsung and Google's plans. If anything, I would think it in Samsung's best interest to have something to show people right before the iPhone actually drops.

Doubt it. The announcement was first scheduled for today (after the iPhone announcement) until postponed. It sounds unlikely.

Nor could I see Verizon having the power to enter a contract on Google's or Samsung's behalf. Verizon could be all "chill for a few days, guys, please." But ultimately, it comes down to what's in the best financial interests of Samsung and Google that gets this thing announced.
