I've always been dying to see how many drops my Touch Pro2 could handle. It's taken quite a few, but it still keeps on truckin'. Once the Prime finally comes out, I'll be able to settle the matter once and for all.

Or I could ask Mr. Owl?

Don't do it! He's gonna eat it! He's gonna eat it!!

Every CPU has bugs, even the CPU in the phone or laptop or desktop you're using right now. CPU errata (here are examples) have to be published by the manufacturer once discovered, and operating system writers occasionally have to tweak things to work around the bugs.

The 4470 might work perfectly well in a direct swap, or it could take weeks or months to track down what's not working and figure out what to do about it.

I cant wait im selling the captivate for this for when we see a AT&T version...

black_man_x just tweeted this....On the real... Vzw device is nice.. But the real beast is coming on att.. Expect greatness in the 1st qrt of 2012..

So save your money and wait:D

Yeah right, I don't care if the Holy Grail 4G is coming next year, I'm not waiting any longer

My sentiments exactly. My damn blackberry storm 2 is no longer a cell phone since its plugged in all the time due to a dying battery...Hurry up Prime?

Any suggestions on how to put it out of its misery (other than the job RIM is currently doing? ):D

Sounds like OMAP for Verizon Nexus, and Exynos for the rest once the exclusivity ends (in January).

Verizon, you've done it again. Congratulations.

I wonder if it would be simpler to drop in a 4470 given it is pin compatible? 544 gpu would be pretty awesome too!

Had to make a few stops on the way home from work and stopped and played with an ATT SG2. I was pretty amazed at how thin it was (8.5mm). If the Prime is rumored to be 8.8mm.... I would personally sacrifice some of that thinness for a bigger battery.

I'm starting to get concerned with the recent noise that VZW is gonna gimp this thing:o (hope I am wrong).

Well, Snowmancomic, if you're like Hans you could do this:

Buy a stuffed toy skunk and take the stuffing out.
Wrap your Storm2 in bubble wrap and put it inside the skunk.
Place on a busy highway so truckers think it's road kill.
Pick it up a few hours later when it's 2-dimensional.
Take it to a phone recycling center and tell them you had a bit of an "accident". :p

Trent, don't be concerned about the battery, bmx clarified:
"Let me further clarify my battery statement.. I use about 4gb a day in data so I kill a bionic battery in 4 hours so to get 6 will be great"
I know it's already been said but just to make sure everyone knows :)
