Sadly they won't care. Verizon wants to be a content provider in the worst way. And they don't care if 99.9% of their customer base wants to use G-Maps over VZNavigator. They'll continue to jam it down their customer's throats anyways. It's not all that dissimilar to what's happening here with Isis.

They know they have the best network, and they also know that tons of people won't leave because of this. You saw it earlier in this thread. They literally have a noose around their customer's necks. As a result, you get the arrogant decision making that is very commonly seen at VZW. The massive amount of uninstallable junk is just part of this.

I didn't say I was leaving....it just feels so sad here today.....(aside from the random "that's what she said" jokes)......and to hold something shiny and new and REAL......just breaks us old women down after a hard week. Besides, I could never leave you, Steven.
 
Can someone expand to me why the rumor is that the Nexus will be announced on the 18th in Japan? It does not sound right to me.

GEEZ. Verizon is in the USA, not Japan.
 
Steven, while we're asking your source for favors, you think you can ask him/her/it to mail each of the 1000 posters in this thread an early-release device for free?
I'm sure Verizon/Samsung/Google wouldn't mind.

I didn't want a Mac, I bought a system off of a friend of mines store, he makes computers. I did the Windows update 6 months later and it fried my computer.

He then tells me he calls the corrupt-dates, lol. I couldn't be without a system so he gave me a Mac. Some friend :mad:

China you mean? and probably because the country doesn't matter. its more of an announcement of Ice Cream Sandwich and not the nexus. its just along for the ride.
