uhm guys...

any comment on that? [i don't believe its the nexus prime... it has got the Samsung-lettering above the display... would be untypical for an nexus-device...]

seems to be some SGS2-Version...

also we can't see any onscreen buttons.. [but it could be that they are hidden, as the device is in landscape mode, and when he rotates it into portrait mode, we don't see the bottom of the display...

I believe its just the new music apk that was leaked and nothing more.

Seems to be just the new Google Music app that is available for download...

I'd have to agree, but the quality on the video is so bad I can barely discern anything. At first I thought the "SAMSUNG" on the top was just a speaker grille...

Stay on the lookout, though, there's bound to be a real leak here sometime soon... hopefully... :P

I don't really see a curve... But whatever it is it is FAST. Holy Canoli.

1. yeah as he only shows the front, we're not able to see if its curved or not...
2. INDEED, it seems to be blazing fast... :D

edit: OR it is the GSM-version of the Galaxy Nexus.. :p

edit2: ok it's ~ 3:30 AM in germany, i'll go to bed now... good n8 everyone ;)

edit3: oh i forgot... don't write too much while i'm asleep, pls :D

Yeah, I'm not sure you could fake the lack of capacitive buttons on a video that bad. I'm going to vote for "definitely possible". It looks smokin'.

ok, i'll be the first...

blazing fast hm... exynos 4212? :D

[pls don't move this to the processor thread, i'm not 100% serious ;)]

but however... good night everyone ;)

Wouldn't break my heart at all if we ended up with an SGS2HD LTE instead of a Prime or Nexus. It would still be a rockin' phone, and any bloatware that comes with it will be easily frozen or removed as soon as we have root.

Google translate is too funny:D

My favorite sentence from the translated article:

"S and S2 Galaxy Galaxy raised the bottom of the battery cover to pop out and I called your ass?":eek::eek::rolleyes:

Yes, Google translations don't seem to be quite there yet but at the same time quite humorous. Maybe a better way to write the above English (not really) sentence would be something like, "As Galaxy S's and Galaxy S II's battery covers pop out at the raised bottom, I called its ass." Just a hunch. Actually that's still kind of funny. I wonder what it actually says.

Anyway, that article doesn't seem like a real review... more like a hands on at a announcement. No hints about what SoC it's using. Isn't that what we really want to know? I read in a different thread... don't remember which... where people were saying that it's actually the Qualcomm APQ8060 due to the LTE connectivity. I hope not.

Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy S2 HD LTE also be used ten thousand women do?

I am almost to the point of rolling around on the floor laughing at some of this stuff:

This one is too scary to guess. Maybe 10000 women were used to make Galaxy S2 LTE and Galaxy S2 HD LTE also? That must be a huge factory and why forbid men from making these phone? Is this like a huge private harem?

Highly doubt that will be the case. The Nexus is coming to Verizon. Things are far too deep for all parties for it not to happen.

However, I do believe the SGS2 HD is just basically the same spec'd phone as the Nexus. Pretty sure they'll be very close, if not identical (hardware feature wise). Different packaging, and comes with GB instead of ICS.

But 1.5GHz, HD screen. yeah, it'll be close either way. But the FCC report on the SGS2 HD tells a few things. It doesn't have a Verizon model number, but it has LTE. So it's got to go to AT&T.

Agree. I'd gladly purchase it. If it is in fact going to be called the Galaxy Nexus you can bet its going to be one heck of a phone. Now if only Samsung/Google can convince Verizon to allow Google Wallet on the handset we just may get to see what they have in store for us. Otherwise it going to be a drought and we will be forced to drink from the Motorola watering hole. Ughh

That's what the chief is saying :)

Man, couldn't they hold the camera a bit more still or at least focus it? How about more lighting? It could almost be anything with Samsung on top.

Is everyone discounting this as not being the galaxy nexus because of the model number not matching what Verizon model numbers usually are? I'm thinking that doesn't really mean anything since this isn't going to be a Verizon phone. It's a Google phone on Verizon. Remember that's part of what Verizon is feeling uncomfortable about.

Yeah, but we have WiFi and Bluetooth certs with the Verizon number, Pics of the Cellebrite system with the Verizon number, and leaked roadmaps with the Verizon number.

I'm 99.9% certain it will be SCH-i515.

I was looking at some of the other stuff in the links provided by Trent Reznor (thanks) and this page looks like it showing ICS on a GS II. I didn't try to read it (the translation is really hard to read) but there are some nice pictures. Is this really ICS? It looks different from the Romanian leaked video.

Here is the link to the FCC page:

My MBP is being weird and I can't open the links.... maybe someone can look and see if it has VZW frequencies.

LOL that whole article seems to be obsessed with how much phone is too much phone for women to hold. They way I read it, the author is happy that it's a 4.3" screen, because 4.65" is too big for women.

Considering that we have several phone-geekettes in the thread, I would be very interested in hearing what they have to say on the subject.

AND GUYS? No 'size" jokes! You know what I'm talking about... :)
We can have this curious discussion in a family-friendly (and mod-friendly) manner.

Cellebrite is more than likely a hoax. Why? 1, They don't use the code names in the system and 2, the name is wrong (listed as Nexus Prime see number 1)

also those roadmaps have no validity anymore. Those have been all out wrong for a lot of devices.

The lack of info in all honesty concerns me. we have many other devices passing through the FCC and nothing on Verizons end. The same thing happened with the SGSII and we all know how that turned out.

Something needs to happen here and fast or else we may be looking down into a dry well

The Nexus Prime forum has more posts than both the Nexus S and Nexus S 4G forums combined and our phone hasn't been released yet!

Great job guys; I love reading all of these opinions, facts, and whatever it is that HanSolo posts. :p
