Well, to each their own, but I probably echo the sentiments of most when I say that it looks amazing, especially compared to the one we saw in the Japanese ad earlier.

I believe the Razr has a 4430, while the Galaxy Nexus has a 4460...of course, the only difference is supposed to be clock speed (1GHz for the 4430, 1.5GHz for the 4460), but they're set at the same speed...meaning they're the same...

Not really the same, since they are different chips and manage heat for cpu and gpu differently (4460 is apparently more robust and designed to handle 1.5ghz).

I have a 4430 device and it runs fairly hot at 1ghz and battery takes a hit with sustained full
load, so 1.2 would be nuts. Frankly, IF the Razr has a 4430, the CEO is flat out lying about how good the battery will be for the average user.

Long time lurker and now first time poster (to this forum).

I've been looking forward to this thing like you guys for months as I've been spoiled with my OG Droid these last two years. She's still serving me well thanks to PE 6.5 or GPA, but I'm so glad this is what we get to move on to.

For me, I've been mostly happy with the specs as they've been released. If that's the floor, cool, if there's something else -- awesome. I think for me it's all ICS. No matter what device comes out in the near future that isn't ICS from the start will take months to get there. Meanwhile, we'll be enjoying a device with some great specs and all the latest Android innovations.

Anyways, it's been fun following this thing up to tonight. I got my box of ice cream sandwiches ready to enjoy during the announcement. I think if the announcements mirror the rumors, I'll be happy. If there's something real special that surprises me, all the better.

All I know is that I hope feel the same way about the Nexus as I did when I first was wowed by the OGD. Thanks, everyone, for the conversation.
