Another thing to consider...dev suppot, looks like majority of them getting nexus, which is not a surprise. Haven't seen any tweets about dev getting razr yet

It really is a tough decision. Knowing that ICS will eventually hit the RAZR makes it even harder.

I've spent so much time with the Nexus it's going to be hard to let it go but RIGHT NOW I am on the fence. Never thought I'd be in this position. Unreal.....

easy decisions Motoblur Fail...Locked Bootloader Fail...

Ice Cream Sandwhich Win...

hey does anyone know or speculate if this will have an NFC reader i really like Google Wallet

huh...i would have guessed just the opposite for you. i agree the RAZR looks awesome, and has the specs to back it up. but, locked BL and all the extra software Moto has added (in addition to blur and webtop) - just made my decision easier. i'm all in for the GNex, unless Google and Sammy release a real turd (which is very unlikely).

have you seen that YouTube video?! looks so smooooooooooooth!

I'm in the same boat. Exactly how I feel about the Razr and the entire situation. If the GNex isn't what I thought it would be or even close, I will keep waiting for something else. My next phone definitely will not be the Razr. That's for sure.

I've been torn between the RAZR and Nexus Prime for awhile. But seeing that the RAZR is an updated Droid X and not really anything new, that leaves the Prime.

I was kinda worried about the curvature of the Prime, but after seeing the images, not so much anymore. And with every new leak that is coming out about the Prime, makes me even more anxious.

Prime it is!

no flak here. i agree - RAZR is crazy bad arse in looks! still, RAZR has dropped to a solid second place for me, down from being 1B and the GNex 1A...

Dang vzw is getting some hella good android phones now:-) , hoping att will get an ics device this year :-) i guess all we got right is sgs 2, but thats running gb lol

but given all the stuff that Moto has added to the device (security, encryption, MotoCast, webtop, etc), don't you think it's going to take quite a bit of time and effort to integrate all of that into ICS?? i think ICS is months, not weeks, from the RAZR - hope i'm wrong, tho. (which brings up an interesting point - what was BMX tweeting about stock ICS on other devices before the end of the year???)

oh damn it...

i was about to download the youtube-video in 720p, but then some kind of error appeared and the download canceled...

sry, i'm trying to fix it, or to somehow download the video again and upload it on my personal youtube-channel so that you all can see... but i don't promise anything ...

Development support is a HUGE consideration for me. I want fast updates...but not necessarily from google. I can't wait to see:

1). What ICS is all about
2). What the dev community will do with it

Gnex is ultra smooth! I just can't handle the way it looks....right now. I hadn't even had my eye on the RAZR. Thats the shocker for me. I was not even entertaining the idea of buying a Motorola. Then they unveiled it today and I was blown away.

I just need to settle in and get over the initial shock of seeing the Galaxy Nexus. I expected something way nicer. I haven't had time to digest all this. I'm hoping after the announcement tonite my decision will be clear. If not it's going to be quite a few days of weighing the pro's and cons. 2 years is a LOOOOOONG time :)

Well if you believe google they did say there will be ics devices on every carrier by end of the year.

why is it between the nexus and the razr for everyone?

has everyone forgot about the samsung galaxy s 2 hd? it passed through the fcc a few days ago.

has the same great cpu/gpu as the sgs2 but with the same 4.65" 1280x720 screen as the nexus. best of both worlds..

By the way, I thought I would comment on the looks of both phones. The Razr looks like Motorola phones and the GNex looks like Samsung phones. The end. Neither are a far cry from what each manufacturer has been putting out for the past couple of years. If you think Motorola phones are sexy, which I DEFINITELY do not, then the Razr may be for you. If you think Samsung phones are sexy and where it's at, like I do, then the Galaxy Nexus is for you. I think Motorola phones are ugly and blocky and have sharp edges. I also agree that the Camera bulge is ******ed. The GNex blows it away as far as looks, in my opinion. No competition. I was wanting a GSII for the past six months or so. Verizon didn't get one. Instead, we got the baddest azz GSII known to man with the newest version of Android, no physical buttons, the first HD screen and we will get updates directly from Google THE SECOND they are released with no delay. Plus, Ice Cream Sandwich is beautiful and is much more aesthetically eye pleasing than past releases. Hands down. So...why is ANYONE complaining right now??? Get excited guys! This thing is fast, and in case you missed the video that was posted a few minutes ago, this thing is butter smooth. Seriously, it's hardware accelerated. It's gorgeous. Just wait and see. We'll get all of the delicious details very soon.
