Do you know if its one of those multi colored ones? and is there a part in the samsung/google video where you can clearly see the led?

I didn't know VLC was releasing to Android!!! That is awesome news!
Also, I don't think any of us are going anywhere quite yet. This thread will keep going til at least November 3. We'll probably tack on another 10,000 posts for good measure.
Although as you can tell, my productivity today has gone down the tubes.
As I said earlier, don't be surprised if our thread has the highest unemployment rate in the forums when all is said and done.![]()
Well can you please tell him that we miss him and that we baked cookies.

I'm not entirely sure of this, but I thought he said it was a three-color led.
. . .
3) I was a tad disappointed in the hardware of the GP, wondering if I could be future proofed for 20 months. One year? Yes. 20 Months? I dunno.
. . .
What's different about today vs. all the other days in regard to your productivity? Aren't you a lawyer...who are you billing this time to? Not sure Steven can pay seeing as he's a ballet teacher![]()
Funny you mention it. I've been a little down today for a few reasons and I hinted at them earlier.
1) Last night's party is over. It was so much fun to see all the enthusiasm.
2) My source is pretty much dried up.
3) I was a tad disappointed in the hardware of the GP, wondering if I could be future proofed for 20 months. One year? Yes. 20 Months? I dunno.
4) Now that the phone is announced, it kind of signals the beginning of the close of this chapter of the build up to the phone's debut. Life goes back to normal. The work, the excitement and the adrenaline rush dimishes.
So, there you have it. I'm thinking about my next project to cheerlead.![]()
I can think of at least two.
1) VZW is no longer going to offer it, which I'm assuming is what you're saying
2) VZW is supposed to be the one to announce it, for a variety of reasons, including exclusivity agreements, conflicts with other Droid products and their pre-orders, among others.

And the same goes for all those who get the phone. it will quickly become mundane in whomever's life. The coolness factor will be there but those emotions probably wont be. Life. Funny thing.
Didn't the Love Tunnel say that he/she/it was getting the Nexus and paying full price for it? The fact that he/she/it knows which phones are coming down the pipeline, and yet still want to own the Nexus, paying full price no less, tells you how future-proof the Love Tunnel thinks it is, no?
Chin up, chap! This will be a glorious device!

Again, I don't understand you, sometimes, but I left you a thank anyway.![]()
I would certainly HOPE that the Mods would give us an end date to the thread (i.e. Launch Day) so we can start composing clever and sentimental farewells
And then lock the thread to new posts, but leave it in the forum as something we can go back to and laugh about our ecstatic highs and manic lows along the way.
I, for one, will miss it. Sure, we'll all still be here in the forum (except for CK, who will STILL be undecided about which phone to buy in 2018) so we can stay in touch that way. I very much look forward to sharing tips, tricks, shortcuts and easter eggs that we find along the way as we explore our new uber-phone!
November is getting here WAYYY to slowly!
Lock will occur in or around 11/10 so. Once this baby is in hand we roll the proverbial credits.

My mistake, no U.S. carrier has been determined yet. Stay tuned for updates.
