It looks like SprintAndroidExtension.apk is required to update profile and prl, you can get it from the stockapps.zip and push it to /system/app/ then reboot and it will work

Its a always running service tho so it may effect performance

Nah, sorry if it sounds like Im complaining. It's a good rom or I wouldn't even bother trying to figure out what's wrong with mine. Just curious when u enable wireless network in GPS settings do u guys still get that message to (ithink) allow it?cause I don't get it anymore
 
Cool just asking. I'm leaving how you made it evrytning is working good. Good job 3g seems faster nit being set to anything.

Alright, so other that my personal PC crashing/burning lol

The Rom, again is amazing. Appreciate it BD, kinda had to use the ol'process of elimination, with the a2sd. On boot, cache is on internal memory..changed.. While reflashing, I had the problem of no service..AT all.. I did manage to get to the market and download TB and restore apps/settings and that took care of it. Running good now and about flash Simple Blue..

Would there be a way to make TB, like the apk or something, a part of the rom itself? I think that would make a good difference when flashing it and having issues with it..

ALSO, GOlauncher or AWD will crash/FC the whole phone... So beware! lol
 
nice rom.
would definitely make the background white. a whoooolllee lot better afterwards...
also probably take out gmail and google search as they are easily downloadable via market..

the gps problems have to do with something i removed i think. i just gotta figure out what

The reason i don't include TB is cause if you go to install TB pro it won't install over the free version on the rom, it says failed to install. even if you go to /system/app and delete the free version

I installed go launcher off the market and it worked fine btw

Been running for three days... Browser is definitely more responsive... Go launcher works fine .. even though I loved the black and white I had to put the simple blue theme on because the stock dialer just looks weird to me


Edit: pairing this with the kickasskernel tweak is even more awesome
 
Only issue for me was the network location issue reported in previous posts. Fixed it by swapping out your network location apk with the one that came with shabby rom. Works great now!
Its definitely faster than before and more room is a big plus!
I think the minimal black and white look is fantastic! Wish you had themed some of the apk 's to match (I'm a fan of the transparent backgrounds in your simple themed apk's), I'm hoping there's more to come!

So by switching to the network location apk from the shabby rom does that affect anything as far as performance goes with this rom?
 
I installed this rom and simple green last night. Awesome!!!
the download speeds seem to be 100% faster. System apps and games load clear with no errors this far. I am going to download the google maps and see how well the GPS nav works on my way home from work today.

Great work!!!
 
I am having a issue with using the faster 3g hack... it will not allow me to change my proxy's they keep reverting to not set...
 
Looks like you have quite the following already. I haven't installed yet because I have a lot of customization I would have to redo, but once i get the time you bet I will. Maybe future releases as a shabby alternative should be in the mix, especially since he doesnt really have time to update atm because of the kid. Love your work sir, keep it up.
