Root Please help!!

I am a EVo dummy. I have an EVo. It will NOT get past the white screen that says bootloader. I see everyone saying to flash or mount to SD card, but how do I do that when i can't get past this screen. It doesn't read it on my PC as a Android device.

what options is the white screen giving you?

do you see a recovery option? if so click on that.

also while you are on the bootloader screen, what is your hboot? and do you have s-on or s-off?
