I'm so giddy for the phone I signed up...one damn telemarketer already has my number these last couple of days.:D
 
Also, when I search for the SGN on the verizon site, I'm seeing this banner:

So it is exclusive after all

I hear you and you can never be too careful but I have been doing that forever and get no telemarketer calls. Its Verizons page and I think it may be to avoid problems from folks that the GN would not apply to.

Besides you hang out here so you will hear it soon enough eh?

It will be exclusive and advertised as such. It could be 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, we don't know. For what it's worth, the Nexus One was exclusive to T-Mobile for a few months at most before AT&T got it. Nexus S was exclusive to T-Mobile for a few months before Sprint got it. Given the apparent strategy here, I don't think it's going to take that long.

Speculation on my part, but by end of January, it should be on at least one other US carrier.
 
Remember. Our source told us that we would be happy. The reason vzw didn't say it was exclusive originally was because we forced a confession out of them, last Friday. :)

I'm really curious to see what the improved spec is, for realz.

Edit: They said they are not sharing our info (cellphone included) with anyone, in the fine print. I believe them. They never had.

They send you text messages on the phone. That's pretty much it.

Yay, some new stuff to talk about. Signed up, figure they already have my mobile number, so oh well. Not that there is anything they will tell us that we didn't already know from the sources and knowledgeable people here.

Yes it does. And with some of us hard headed once bitten twice shy folks, that is what it takes to have us believe.
 
And yet I still follow p3. Go figure. Better is the abuse I know than the change that I don't know. :p

Didn't really want to have to turn on the computer tonight.

And after trading iowabowtech's post earlier about more commands for the adb I am thinking of coming to one of your houses to just have it done right. Lol.

Boy is there ever a HUGE practical joke to be had here. (anyone know Chief's cellphone number? ;))
 
Silly, but the Nexus 'X' is what really got me excited. That little 4 color design just made me re-realize how awesome it's going to be having updates straight from the GooG. WE SO ESSITED!
