Can't wait to take these pictures with my Galaxy Nexus:

Hey everyone I'm one of the few that actually received their DInc a couple of days before it was actually released. It's been a great phone and it still does pretty much everything I need.
I have a question that has been hounding me for months as I've scoured google and nobody has been able to answer for me.

I use Etrade to buy stocks and once in a while I would like to log into my Etrade Pro platform from my phone if I'm ever on the go. Since this is almost a 5" screen I would think it would be easier to view on. I DO have Etrade Pro for android which is a condensed version of what I need. I'm looking for the PC platform of Etrade Pro where I could see many more things in real-time.
Now the question I have is: Will javascript pop-ups and programs work through the Galaxy Nexus? I'm not sure if it would work with the HTC Rezound since it does have very powerful hardware but I like the form factor of the GN much more.
If it wouldn't work on a phone, is there a tablet available or upcoming that will be able to support this feature? I would think a tablet would be easier to work with but when I visited my local BestBuy nobody has been able to help me there.
I'm not sure many will know what the Etrade Pro platform is like but it's basically a javascript platform pop-up that opens on your PC after logging in from your browser.
Thanks for the help!

I would love to have the ICS time-lapse feature today. All the 3rd party apps are running like garbage on my OG.

Talk about fictional journalism. Verizon said nothing of the sort about next year. In fact they released a press release that stated this year. Why in the world would Verizon bother to bring this phone out almost a year after it was put on the market everywhere else. This article is just stupid.

Samsung Brazil announced yesterday that Galaxy Nexus will be released on Brazil on the 1st quarter of 2012.
By the way, the Galaxy S2 was released on the United States some months/weeks after being released on Brazil.

So tell me how the release of the S2 affects the GN?

vzw did release an pr that did say it was coming at end of the year we shall see tho

I assume they were trying to correlate a connection for Samsung procedure of releasing a phone, i.e. if they did this with the S2, they will with the GNex. Only thing is, thus far, all review sites and everything else is saying before the end of this year so I think it's just someone trying to stir the rumor pot.

The release being in 2012 is the new "OH NO it's not coming to Verizon at all!!!!" scare. Let's all calm down for a minute. ;) We have enough information between Steven's source and VZW/Samsung/Google statements to know that it is indeed coming this year, and I will bet my dumb feature phone I have to use that it will be released on the 17th as per the Source.

Yes. GSM only.
Do you think the unlocked GSM version will be available on the USA before December?

Before December? VERY doubtful. I think if you want a GSM version, you'd do better to order it from Europe and ship it.

But, you should probably wait until mid-November to make sure.

US GSM probably Jan or feb at the earliest, your best bet is what han solo said shop from Europe

I get it...your location is NE Ahia...Ohio? I'm from Alliance, but now live in Florida. This year tipped the scales for me...I've now lived in Florida a year longer than I did in Ohio. I don't miss driving (or walking) on the black ice. Scary stuff.

Yep, I'm in Ohio and about a driver and a long iron from Lake Erie so I've been in The Snow Belt my entire life.

I'm seriously tired of Winter in Ohio.

We would move to a warmer climate if we could sell our house and if I could find suitable employment. Perhaps when the economy picks up again or if we hit the lottery. :D

Lets hope the power stays on for our east coast members.

The estimate they are giving here is 530 om hopefully comes true

The problem of buying from Europe is the price. Amazon.co.uk asks 550 pounds, which is about 900 dollars!!
I'll wait a little bit more.
