After all this jerking around, I think the SGN will be my last phone with Verizon. In 2 years AT&T will have their LTE network expanding out nicely, and they've always offered superior quality phones before Verizon.

I think I'm getting off the spikey torture chair after this one.

I feel the same way on verizon. AT&T got SGSII, Atrix 2 and getting LTE SGSII soon while we still have no firm date on G Nex.

I want no prime before its time .

What we know for sure is what we don't know.

Data and connectivity issues? Fix-em while I wait now so I'm not the 1st one to cry here.

HanSolo, did you hit the Costco guy up before entering the padded cell?

I have concluded (so what to you guys, right?) that this chart thing is an advertising schedule. I mean, they're listing "Apple iPhone & Best Network". That's not something you SELL. You advertise your "best network". So it's entirely possible that the Nexus will be released BEFORE the 28th, and only marketed afterwards. Would you agree?

If you go to the Verizon Wireless website and search David Small,Chief Technical Officer,You can E mail your concerns to him and anyone else on the board.

Sorry guys, but I'm actually hoping for 11/28. I'll be on vacation til 11/20 and won't have anyone home to get a preorder either, so I'll feel a *lot* better if I'm actually around when this thing releases.

that's easy, just don't preorder it, wait till you get home and pick it up at any vzw store the same day. highly doubt it'll be backordered

In my experience, the larger the corporation, the more dysfunctional it is. A delay could just as easily be the result of a couple of executives starting a pissing contest over something trivial. I've seen it happen, and it's pretty pathetic.

This phone will release when it's supposed to not one second before or after. Although Verizon is not on the top of everyone's list I fail to see how they have done anything wrong here. Not once has Verizon given a release date and then postponed it....

As far at the sources thing..I def. see both sides however, without the sources we would not have nearly all these posts. Is it frustrating yes...we know it's out there...are there other choices...yes.... if you are truly unhappy...switch carriers, pick a different phone, join a different forum.

I originally came to this forum because it was fun and had an awesome Moderation staff...I haven't posted in awhile because of the lack of maturity here...I just want it back the way it used to be....when we all were holding hands and singing skipping down the street. :)

If I can not get the Gnex before December, Then I will dump Verizon Wireless for Sprint and I will Dump Verizon's Fios package for Dish Network.

I to had enough from Verizon.

Update on the DL article:

We had a handful of people ask a couple of great questions and thought we should clarify something. The schedule below is indeed an advertising schedule of sorts which is why we mentioned that the G-Nex could launch on or around Black Friday. If you look at the schedules for both the Rezound and Razr, they begin just after each phone is expected to hit stores. The Razr went on pre-order back on October 27, which is reflected below. The Rezound is expected to be out anywhere from the 10th-14th which is also reflected below. So could the Nexus drop just before Black Friday? It most definitely could, which is why you should try not to freak out too much yet.

My secret insider source met up with me in an undisclosed location and whispered:

"Om nom nom nom... Om nom nom? Om, nom nom, nom nom nom!"

Apparently, this means that there may or may not be supply problems, obstinate VZW management, or Steve Jobs coming back from the dead as an iZombie.

Taking in consideration the valuable whispers of my secret insider source, GN will either be released on the 17th of November or some other date.

I am relieved that we now know more than we used to know.

best post in this thread :D *dying from laughing*

Logically speaking, I don’t know why many of us are so pissed.

Verizon said “later this year”. They never said November 3 or 10 and suddenly are reneging on their commitment. Actually, Google and Samsung are the ones that said it was going to release in the US “in November” at the unveiling. If anything, we should be hating on them for giving us false information.

And yet, despite this logical reasoning, I still find myself hating Verizon will most of my energy, and loving Samsung and Google almost as much.

Crazy world, isn’t it?

nice, so this will be out in december.

its only been a half year's worth waiting, not too bad.

Yes, I think December 1 is the date. I thought November 28, but not so sure. I'm thinking the advertising campaign will begin a few days before actual release. I can't see a reason why they'd want exclusivity if they're not going to market it at least a little.

I think we all do a mad rush to Verizon, both online and in stores, on December 1.

I think its time for a group hug...

Steven..I'll let you organize it (along with providing the beer..I still remember 300 people in the irc chat room :) )

C'mon guys, burntorangefan is joking. He doesn't really think that *removed* is Another Source.

I didn't get the joke part. Forgive me if it was in inside joke... Perhaps burntor can rephrase somehow? I'm dealing with sensitive issues with real and genuine people who risk a lot to leak out information and I aim to protect them in every way possible. If I get a bit lion-like, you can understand I aim to protect my sources, with a vengeance.
