I leave you for a while with this:

There is a Nexus device coming to Verizon. Many never thought they would live to see the day. It will have an absolutely amazing and beautiful screen, a camera that is undeniably fast and takes great pics and videos, it will have 4G LTE, a quick processor and the amazingly beautifully quick and powerful Ice Cream Sandwich. It will be a most impressive phone that many will love and treasure. The only thing we need now is a 100% firm release date. Until that moment
It is coming. Relax and be kind to each other.
Sound logic and reasoning won't work on us! This is the internet! ;)

Well said. :)

ok sportsfans.. work's over. May or may not be back on later. I think I may need to chill out from the drama of the day. :P

Nite.

I am making my I want to say second post. I have been a lurker for YEARS (droid Eris... since upgraded to a droid x, as my friend works for verizon and HAD to have the Iphone... it was win win.) Just have to say this thread has had my eyes for the past 3 weeks or so at least 8 times daily. I am now entering the charade. As long as I get the phone before I turn 30 hmm 3 years should do the trick... I think I am doing fine... I think, ask it might change in 30 seconds.

It's an advertising schedule. They are going to advertise the iPhone along with "their best network" during Black Friday. Makes sense.

Hopefully you're right. If I remember correctly, there werern't droid incredible commercials immediately after launch. Possibly time to rebuild stock after a first wave, before advertising a phone that they can't sell because it's not available.

ahhh this definitely reminds me of the DINC thread and how everyone including myself was so impatient and hoping for an early release of that phone...

oh wells i learned my lesson for sure, especially with verizon..

at the end of the day, they are a business and we are the consumer, even though they won't make as much money with the GN as they would with a RAZR or Rezound, i'm just glad a pure google experience is finally coming to verizon. i've been waiting for this day since the nexus one, so i for one don't really care anymore when it comes out as long as it comes out. and since it's already been announce that it's coming i'm a happy "patient" camper waiting the arrival of the GN. i'm sure it's gonna be one sweet #%$ phone!

Well the Panda just dropped this little gem in the AndroidCentral forums. Take it as you will.
You all do know that is a advertising setup schedule right?! Meaning that is what will getting upfront store signage and the like and the nexus is placed as a add-on to go along with their other Samsung products like the updated tab's and the like..

Just saying.. what vzw does is subject to change.. but they can sell it whenever they see fit as their warehouse is getting shipments in the next couple of days and its listed in their sales systems.

I say the nexus fans have an #occupyVZWstores movement..

Time for chow and walking dead (and no that is NOT an insider hint)

Looks like what several of us were saying may have been close to the truth. Let's keep on hoping he's right. Or assume the worst, and be pleasantly surprised.

I'm getting really tired of seeing the title of the thread updated to state something as fact (release date 11/17!! release date black Friday!!) to only come and find out its based on rumors and guesses.

If u wanna update the thread title with this (basically nothing) new info, put a question mark at the end so we all don't get our hopes up.

AT&T didn't care because they still had an exclusive on the iPhone if I remember correctly. The Sprint Nexus S came out a long time after the original Nexus S so it really wasn't that big of a deal. Nexus devices aren't the talk of the town unless your a tech geek anyway.

BTW, love the user name. :D

You are correct in your memories about the iPhone....but that kind of is my point that any manufacturer that kisses the ass of the provider gets top shelf.....and more importantly the push. Google is not going that route, and I do not see Verizon giving this phone even a nudge over any other phone that is going to get them a little more money on some rip off service.

BTW love your profile pic;)

In another thread he made a small post on battery life:

"the battery will be fine.. my comments are an extreme case, like I said I use about 4gb of data a day and get 6 hours on the device.. "

On a side note...anyone know where VZW warehouses are?

Well I wouldn't get hopes up yet. While they may be getting shipments soon, they may still want to wait on releasing them "to space out" the Razr and Rezound. In my opinion, they may very well still do that.

BMX is just basically saying that the ball is in Verizon's court at this point.

Interesting, I remember BMX tweeting something similar. Just out of curiosity, what is one doing on a phone where they are using 4+ gb a day?
