So, I'm no processor expert or anything so I'm just wondering here....

Is Snapdragon 1.5 ghz dualcore > than OMAP 4460 1.2 ghz dualcore?

Also isn't the OMAP 4460 underclocked at 1.2 ghz?

Boy, do I feel a load off my shoulders with this. We're almost there. The weight and responsibility of this thread has been intense at times. I'm kind of looking forward to the down time of just doing normal mundane mod stuff. ;)

Wow, I feel like its the end of a mystery novel, and all the pieces have just fallen into place, and all thats left is to turn the page and have what you KNOW is the ending be confirmed.

From what I've read... they are fairly equal with a slight advantage going to the OMAP GPU. I've read that it can be overclocked to 1.5 ghz.

The only thing looking good on Rezound is probably camera. But actual performance and quality against Nexus still needs to be checked after release. And what's with 1620mAh battery? That 1.5Ghz MSM 8660 + Qualcomm LTE radio + HD screen would drink plenty of juice in no time.

This thread is on a tear and easily on par to the Inc thread of old which I was happy to be a part of. I post, then there are 10 new posts to go back and read awesome :D

I seriously commend you on your ability to keep us all in line, (As well as the other mods here) especially when your motives/information have been questions by others and your temper and/or feelings have flared.

Thanks to all our mods!!

We are almost there!!!

This is me, catching up on all the posts from today...

Best part of a story or a movie. Suspense isn't about not knowing what's going to happen, its about anticipating what you're pretty sure will! Im ready for the final release more than ever :)

The thickness of the Rezound is the problem for me. The video comparing it to the TB at 14mm is just blah! Other than that... nice phone.

maybe the processor, but the GPU in the OMAP 4460 should be better than the Adreno 220 seeing as it's a bumped up PowerVR SGX540.

I will make Alton Brown's turkey recipe from Good Eats just for this! (Was gonna make it anyways, its freakin awesome)

I love his stuff!!!

We do our bird on the charcoal grill, indirect heat.

I say january we have a Nexus Bird Get Together - all of our phones and all of our turkeys/recipes. (alright, might be a little hard to organize but it's a nice thought)

Yes, but the very best mysteries are the ones where everything you thought you knew was wrong all along, and they drop a big twist that, in retrospect, makes perfect sense.

I hope we're not in an awesome mystery. I hope we're in a mediocre one where the end will be what we fully expect it to be.

I hope we're not in a Primal Fear movie.

Yep, 3 phones all 3 days apart. Makes sense. My night at work just more tolerable with this news. (As I put my head down and walk into work)

fair point....we will have to wait and see

I even switched to Sprint to get the Evo 4g when it first came out. I was located in the "outdoor" coverage area on the wimax coverage map but I figured since Baltimore was Sprints first 4g market that they would expand it. Well up until this day Sprint has still not expanded it. Verizon has expanded the lte coverage in Baltimore several times.

I want to see Sprint do well because I don't see them lasting another 2 years unless they step it up. If their LTE networks sucks as badly as their Wimax network I don't expect them to stay afloat.
