***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

The thickness of the Rezound is the problem for me. The video comparing it to the TB at 14mm is just blah! Other than that... nice phone.

I am with you there. I'm actually surprised that the battery is so small, given the thickness of the phone. Battery life on the Rezound is likely to be terrible.

I was welcoming Gapi back to the craziness of the thread in general. I have a feeling the only thing that changes is that the RAZR is getting the 11/11 gimmick date instead of the original 11/10.

The 11/11 RAZR date is definitely a gimmick. Technically it will still be released on 11/10, as you can still pre-order it and it says it will ship by 11/10.

So 11/10, 11/14, and 11/17 still looks oh so good :D

Yes, but the very best mysteries are the ones where everything you thought you knew was wrong all along, and they drop a big twist that, in retrospect, makes perfect sense.

I hope we're not in an awesome mystery. I hope we're in a mediocre one where the end will be what we fully expect it to be.

I hope we're not in a Primal Fear movie.

Very true but if we gt me going on film or writing theory i will ever so far off topic i may never return :P

Also i hate autocorrect on the charge.

And if the gnex video looks that good i think i should shoot a short on it - if they can do a feature on that fruit phone it can be done!

Thus why they were coming out with extra large batteries and doors WAY before the phone was every announced. I wouldn't expect anything better than what TB's are getting... and reportedly very bad.

"I'm proud to let you know that the HTC Rezound will ship ready for Ice Cream Sandwich" (note: not installed)

What the hell is that even supposed to mean? Sure, we all knew the Rezound wasn't going to ship with ICS on there. But, seriously, what just-released Android phones aren't going to have the hardware to support ICS?? Reminds me of all the silly "Vista Ready" stickers PCs shipped with.

Or a sweet panoramic of the whole family at dinner!

Hey, I just won my tournament (came in second really) and can now buy all three phones! :D Not going to though. I only need the one and want to save my other upgrades for future phones if need be.

CONGRATS!!!!!

*babyblues goes to the corner to use the abacus to figure out how to rob peter to pay paul for this phone*

I said on another forum... "ICS ready" is like me being "wealthy ready" :p

It is marketing. Just like all the headphones that have "iPod/iPhone compatible" on the package. It's a 3.5mm headphone jack, of course it is compatible. They put it on there so that it is somehow linked to Apple and the iPhone though. That is all they are doing when they say ICS ready.

I know, it's just crazy... WTF is in the Rezound that makes it so thick with that scrawny battery?? GNex and Razr both have a bigger battery and are much thinner than that thing.

I'll get in the store and check one out, but nothing is gonna sway me from the GNex at this point :)

I'm pretty sure that most Rezound folks would use extended battery as standard one is too small, and it will make the phone even thicker.

Ummmmm....yea.....no.:p

I still have bills to pay with that money too. Remember, for me, this is the same as any of you getting your paycheck. The only difference is that I can go for another tonight.:D
