"ICS Ready" sounds like the marketing gimmick I saw on a Windows XP machine I bought right before Windows Vista was about to launch. I think my Thunderbolt is "ICS Ready" as well. I'm still not convinced about this phone. The Razr is starting to appeal to me more. I wonder what the battery life is like on it. You'd think they'd at least surpass Moto's 1700 mHa battery.

Turbo Grafx 16 rocks, so not so bad ;) Galaga 90, Blazing Lazers.... Just those two games made the system worthy for me. Have the PCE emu on my Android devices :)

HA! what do you know about the TurboDuo i had that one. lol Y's 1 and 2, Bonks Revenge ...get some

I've got a couple for you two, I have an old WORKING Atari 2600 and Magnavox Oddessey 2. I'd like to get my hands on an old Colecovision if I can find a working unit.

And I'll admit, the TurboGrafx had a few gems, like Military Madness and Golden Axe (but was too easy to beat). Oh and if you guys don't have access to a Nintendo emulator.... nintendo8.com - play Nintendo 8-bit games online (no download required) Enjoy....don't spend too much time playing the Legend of Zelda! ;)

Oh and Cnet has their review of the phone. Image quality doesn't look that great, granted high end TVs don't necessarily look great on TV either...

I read the review in the link you have posted and it all looked good. I don't see where they said anything about the image quality though. Where did you see that?

Sh*t I have a gamecast, lol!!

Vid doesn't work.... is that cnet vid the only one that is actually hands on? Has anyone posted the link?

Finally some Rezound news!! (guess its finally time to start calling it that.... or not)

Vigor all the way!!!!!!!!

who cares. CM9 will be out before official ICS from HTC

I think these are a pair of ear buds designed specifically for the ReZound in that these aren't the same ones you can go out and buy right now. They're probably good ear buds don't get me wrong but i would probably say they're not quite as good as the ones you buy stand alone. Probably a lower end version. Still a pretty good deal though if you ask me.

I'm about 90% this is my next phone. I'm still sticking to my plan though and waiting till i hear some real world user feedback.

Ah that sounds more realistic then. The Beats ear buds would almost make me buy this phone alone. It's close to the GN and Razr but a pair of headphones like that would seal the deal . At least for me. I love my music.

The video they posted, she shows a video on the phone. Hard to tell though since it's a video of a video.

"ICS Ready"

I don't see the big deal. They had to address it so they simply said, "When we can get it to work w/ Sense it will be updated." It's not like they touted 'ICS Ready' as a selling point, they just knew people would ask if it had ICS so that's how they dealt w/ it.

When I go to sell my Thunderbolt, I'm going to tout it as "Space Ready" and include a zip lock bag......

When changin the phone from portrait to landscape mode in the browser, does the screen switch instantly like the bolt or rotate graphically like the nexus/iphone? Cant find an example in any of the vids.

I have looked over a lot of info on the announcement of the phone today, but can't find anything on the battery.. Do we know what size it is yet (officially)?

1620 mAh. They're already selling them. I purchased one in anticipation of the phone and the battery shortage shortly after the release, and fortunately it also fits the Thunderbolt.

yah, look at my last post...prior to this one and the last one of course...ok 2nd last post...or wait is that 3rd last post?!?!

Deep breathes player :)

1630. there is a nice looking (i think so) extended battery already available through HTCpedia though that is a 2400mah (around that, dont exactly remember)

They bumped it up 10 mAh? I wonder if I can return this battery after they "officially" come out and say I was robbed of my 10 mAh...?!?!

do we know if there will be a bigger MaH battery that still only takes up the same amount of room as the stock battery? Kind of like with the Dinc1?

Not seeing Krait in mass production and in a price range OEMs will bother with until mid year, at the earliest. Also, 28nm is still not been cleared for mass production due to high scrap yields in the process. Industry analysts were reporting this last month. Apparently getting to that low micro level is more of a bear than chip makers thought it would be.

I agree with your time-frame estimate, I think that's essentially what I said. I did recently read an article in Digitimes saying that TSMC recently ramped up production of several of its 28nm processes, including the first-gen Kraits. If true, we might see devices based on these chips a bit sooner...one can hope.

Either way, the Rezound (still can't get used to the name) looks awesome, and will be mine on November 14.

I'm sure you can count on it. I don't know if HTC will make one, but 3rd party companies like Seidio most definitely will.

I really like the Scorpion dual core, but the device needs to prove that it will not be a power hogging 3G/4G juggling mess like the TB, when using 4G. That and the high res super LCD seem potential power hogs, so look forward to people testing the device out- a LOT and giving feedback :)

Htcpedia says its 2750 that comes with a new cover for $60. But will it still fit in the cardock?

I am wondering this as well.

LOL, every time I look at that extended battery cover I just think " YIKES...are we going to end up back here again one day?"

scenario. I'm thinking since its a 1.5ghz we should be able to under clock it to about 1.2ghz and still have great performance and help with batter life...lol

don't tell the G-Nex guys that we would have to underclock the ReZound to get to the same processor speed as them :p lol

You'd probably have better luck getting a pregnant woman in the back seat of a Miata (I'M SURE SOMEONE WILL CHIME IN AND THEN THEY'LL EVENTUALLY GET IT.....HOPEFULLY ), although the one I saw had the battery part bloated with the ridges the same thickness so maybe that was designed ugly so it'll fit in car mounting docks and what not. I don't see how though if the car dock has a flat back end.

What does it take for Verizon to get a 4G phone that also supports GSM? I'm getting really impatient and almost ready to give in and get the Rezound. But with my luck, they'll come out with exactly what I want 31 days afterwards so I will be outside of my window to return it. Ugh. :(
