Oh just went through the label and grabbed the model number, which corresponds to this. Confusing.

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (SC-03D) Android Smartphone | Gadget Review Specs

Speaking of LTE though, AT&T's is ridiculously fast.

Just How Fast Is AT&T

Yeah, we had a discussion yesterday on what that meant. Hopefully it is just an amazon issue, but it could also logically go with a supply problem forcing Samsung to delay shipments to some retailers.

That's yesterday's news, we're done with that.
Our mantra is still the 17th...17th...17th...:)

While I admire your optimism, this article is on Phandroid which gives it a lot more weight in my mind. Also, it was posted less than an hour ago.

So hypothetically...........

There's a Verizon announcement that the GNex is only available in stores, and supply is limited.

So you show up early at your favorite store, get a spot in line, and wait for the opening. Then, magically, BabyBlues shows up. (Or enter another top poster here)

Do you let her cut in line?

I would. Only right that we take care of our own.

Depends. How many are left at that point? If they come outside to announce there are only 2 left, limit 1 per customer, and I'm number 2 in line. . . .

She might make things difficult and recognize me, saying "Hey, Han!" If that's the situation, I might pretend to be deaf and throw some sign language at her along the lines of "What? Who? What?", bow my head, and move along towards my prize.

Sorry Blues. I know it's women and children first on a life boat. But that's a life boat.

What! i would let her play with it after i purchased it first. Or alright, sure. she could cut in line, right behind me

Good Morning fellow Gnexers!

While the release date is in flux for many, I'm also holding onto the 17th until Verizon says otherwise. Directly.

9 days to go!

When our youngest child turned 9 the Darling Bride & I had a half-way party. Well, a BIG SHOUT OUT to the daughter Athena, who is 18 today! WHOOT!

I'm sticking with you, Chief. And congrats on your baby girl making it to 18. It's a big milestone, not just for her, but for you and the Darling Bride. My ONLY just turned 18 in June and the next milestone I'm waiting on his him moving out on his own. I'll do a big ol' WHOOT when that one comes! :D

Bearer of bad news...

Amazon just pushed the GNex back to
Dec 2nd....

Can someone please go barge into Google's offices with a Paint ball gun!

Lol...ridiculous already!

The UK Nexus and this was discussed yesterday. There are still sites in the UK that list it as the 17th though.

No one can figure out a reason for the 12/2 date though.

Folks, all this talk about the UK Sim-free Nexus being pushed back I would bet has nothing to do with ours. I'm seeing a lot of comments online saying "Pushed back to December 2nd? Verizon what are you doing?!".

This isn't Verizon's model, nor is it the US model since Verizon probably has some level of exclusivity for the next couple of months. Relax :)

Someone tells those people to stop! Don't give Verizon any ideas ;)

Sadly, my offspring stopped trick or treating years ago. I sure do miss the ritual of snagging all of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, convincing him they were all poisonous. :D

And the day after St. Patty's day off is an absolute M.U.S.T., along with the day after the Superbowl. Those two days are my 'standing' days off every year.

I take all the tootsie pops. I LOVE when people give them out. They're my favorite. I haven't been out on St Patty's or Superbowl in years. (Hence the whole statement - I need new friends to hang out with - mine have gotten married and boring)

pops up when needed.
that's what she said

Face it guys, you would not be able to resist the wiley Temptress ;)

Awwww - thanks guys. IF it were limited supply and that were to happen I'd only ask that you let me play with it after you get it. I'd promise not to drool on it.

 Guys...I showed you the internal e-mail yesterday where it had been pushed to December 25th for Verizon...did you not read it??

Lets be serious, do you really need that much speed on a phone? You only really need that on a shared landline. If you did use it like a landline, you'd burn through your data limit like a hot knife through butter...

I'd be much happier if they offered slower speeds with a higher data limit.

For now I'll stick with my VZW Unlimited plan...we'll see how long that lasts.

More possible delay spinning:

"Verizon is in a unique position to offer three flagship class phones for the holiday season. With so many choices, we're concerned some of our offerings may get overlooked due to being released so close to one another. To give our loyal customers ample time to understand the amazing choices soon to be available, we are going to stagger the releases of these ground breaking phones. The RAZR will be released on 11/11/11 at 11:11, the Rezound will be available on 11/14/11 and the Galaxy Nexus on 11/21/11. This way you'll be able to choose the phone which is right for you without confusion. This also gives our Customer Service Reps time to learn the ins and outs of these fine devices to aid you in your purchase."

For those who ignored my first post, I'm writing press release copy for Verizon/Samsung/Google to explain the delays.

<<<<Married, but definitely NOT boring. :):):)

Lol - I gathered that! (I just meant my particular friends)

+ 1
I can completely see the logic in this - therefore making it null and void for verizon to do it.

Lol...its on the border of crazy already!

Hey maybe Vzw is getting the world wide exclusive and were gonna have it for 2 weeks before anyone else...

Such wishful thinking...

Kind of slow at work. This exercise amuses me so I'll continue.

"It is with deepest regret that Samsung must inform you there will be a small delay in the launch of our premier smartphone, the Galaxy Nexus. Tragedy has struck Samsung's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility as our canine mascot, Fudgy was caught in a injection molding machine and suffered fatal injuries. He leaped at a line worker who was in danger of being entangled with the machine, saving him but sacrificing himself in the process. Though the machine suffered damage which will result in production delays, we are humbled by the Fudgy demonstrated. He showed the best of the Samsung spirit and we dedicate our first production run of the Galaxy Nexus in his honor. A percentage of all GNex proceeds will be donated to the pound where Fudgy was born. We ask for a moment of silence in his memory."

Another thing supporting a release soon, haven't we heard from someone about VZW people complaining about too much training, with three major phones coming out?

Hmm, the big question is, are they going to warranty all the GNex's with dog hair between the screen and the glass? Or use this dedication to deny them, saying it is a design feature?

Why a three day difference between the Razr and ReHound and a seven day difference between the PeeSound and the Gnex?

Goofy spacing if you are trying to make it easier on us VZW.

Galaxy Nexus believed to be delayed to late November | Mobile Bloom News

I don't know if this has been posted as I am so many pages back still. I hate being the rumor mill, but....

Also, this article is blocked by my proxy at work, so all I can see is the headline.

I have come to realize these professional looking blog/news sites are nothing more than forum lurkers who copy and paste in hopes folks will go to their site and click on the advertizements that get them paid.

There is no Barbara Walters, Andy Rooney types in our new cellular device world. We need reporters who knock on Samsung's or Google's doors and attempt to get word from their offices.

UGH!

I believe this past weekend Reps had they're Razr Tutorials...

I would assume Rezound sometime this week or even this weekend...

And If it went on a weekly basis then we would have some GNex training really soon, like next week! Unless this web only thing pans out...
