Root Boost is updating the prevail to 2.3 gingerbread next week

a lot smaller then the Froyo version, but yours is still smaller

I have also noticed they are using some of the lines that I have in my CM build prop file

They must be reading the threads here

Thats crazy they cant do their own work better.
 
installed gb, rooted, and installed CWM. But when i partition the sd in cwm, neither windows nor linux mint see the sd partition. was going to put darktremor on here, but now I am not sure. It's a brand new class 10 card. Any suggestions?
 
ok, i just rooted my phone and removed alot of bloatware, and now i want to go back to stock for this update. can someone please help me as to i am fairly new to all of this..

yeah I saw it. it's not significantly bigger. it looks like hotspot event monitoring is already removed.

I tried patching up a kernel that has ext4, init.d and CIQ removed.

your ext4.ko returns "init_module 'ext4.ko' failed (Exec format error)"

the rest works :)

gonna have to do that again. we have no ext4 or init.d yet.

edit: looks like this won't take too long to get back

So I run Odin with Kouma version and I will have stock Gb with root? And run which cmw the ee14 or 13? Kinda lost or if you could msg the exact files in order please. And I will by you. 12 pack of rootbeer

no its new files.

i ran kouma's new odin images.
then update the CWM5 with odin selecting one package. (same as before)
root with shabby oneclick.

probably cause the build strings dont match

you need help making new ext modules (small version)?

We knew it. Quite a few people said something along these lines. No way that it was a coincidence that literally shortly after you and the team worked so hard to get CM7 to the Prevail. Then all of a sudden we get GB. Hell I'm wondering if people port over ICS/Cyan ICS build will we get that as well. This is definitely the most active forum for the Prevail. Honestly, it's nice to know that they read other sites besides Xda, lol.
