I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO. ;)

LMAO!! As an unfortunate diehard browns fan living in the cleveland area, I can't tell you how on point this dude is in speaking for all of us. I think I was laughing and crying at the same time when the morning sport talk shows were playing this on air. Great connection to us gnexers, but im only probably THIS extremely addicted to this forum because of how bad my sports teams are! Don't get me wrong, id still be here if they were good, but the torture in here( which it can be pretty damn fun in here ) believe me doesn't compare. this is vacation away from browns
 
As a present, maybe my fading DInc will make it through the day without issue.


Oh, and wanted to mention to Jerseyites, also from Bergen County.
 
I was literally dreaming about the announcement in my sleep last night... obsess much?

I might have the opportunity to trial a ReHound for a few weeks (starting Monday, or possibly Sunday night) until the SGN is available (and my wife lets me purchase it) - even longer than the 14 day return period if necessary. Anything to get out of this iClone. Good to have a brother in high places. Kind of want to get used to Android again.
 
I'm extemely close to going back to AT&T. I can get a cheaper plan with them and they have two LTE phones that I would say are acceptable for both me and my wife.
 
So, this morning my wife calls and says her OGD screen isn't working. She did a battery pull, no joy. Notification light is blinking, keyboard lights up when she opens it up. Looks like both of us are now cell phoneless. Can't wait for this da*n phone to get out!

Ouch, yeah, or at least get a confirmed date so you know when you can get something to hold you over for 13-14 days and then return for GNex.

My friends DInc is still running strong with CM7 on it - you running a ROM or stock?

If you can't wait then by all means. No one is stopping you, but just think if you'll be okay when this comes out and how badly you'll want it.

Just remember you may be eligible for your next upgrade AFTER the skyrocket or vivid before you get LTE coverage from AT&T. And wouldn't you get tiered data? If you have unlimited with VZW, thats a huge loss with an LTE phone.
 
my rooted DInc is still running fine. i haven't flashed any roms on it or anything. do you lose everything when you flash a rom?

Also, my battery doesn't hold its charge for as long now but thats about it..

That's true...but it appears even with a 20% discount at Verizon I'm paying $159/month. The plan I would need with AT&T is coming up to $139/month before a discount that I would also get with them. Just running numbers and weighing things out. If I could get off of this dang 1400 minutes per month plan without busting through the 700 without friends and family minutes that would save me a bunch and make all this switching unnecessary. Currently trying to figure out whether or not we could get by with 700 minutes but for some reason Verizon has stopped coding minutes on my bill for F&F, N&W, M2M, or Plan used minutes.

Yes, when you flash a rom its like doing a factory reset BUT if you back up with titanium first then a lot of it can be restored.

It won't be cheaper if you take away the unlimited data. And aside from unlimited, the bottom line prices are around the same for all carriers. In the end, one should stick with the carrier that works best in the area(s) the phone will be used.

Actually if I were to go to AT&T and pick up their 4GB plan and kept the same services I have with verizon the price per month is actually lower. Considering I only used 0.227GB last month I might actually think about switching...if AT&T had service at my house! >:-(

Yeah we get by on 700 minutes, but that is because everyone my wife talks to is on Verizon, and I don't talk much at all. Also if you sign into My Verizon, you are only charged for Peak calling. everything else doesn't go against your minutes.
