Yup Steven. Sure has. Go figure, as soon as I join in on the conversation it dies out. My bad folks hahaha. Question though; has anyone seen the music player controls in the the notification dropdown in action? Its a feature I use in CM7 frequently... when it works.
What news can you provide to speed things up ehh?

you can say that again....right after I got done reading all the updates since my last post earlier today. goodnight to all, and lets hope for some more good news tomorrow(i really mean later today technically). i would prefer that verizon change up their game and cancel the Razr launch and replace it with the GN launch....would it help if i said PLEEEEAAASSEEEEE?!?!?!?!

I was thinking of it, of course planning to sell the razr and buy a gnex. Do you guys think this would end up being cheaper or not. If the razr is going for $650 full retail, than the nexus would have to be $839 full retail for this to not cost less right? I guess I probably won't be able to sell it for $650, but it the gnex would still have to cost a lot off contract to make buying and selling the razr cost more.
edit: and about the different cost of renewing vs a new line, any idea where it'll be for upgrading a data-less line?
The gnex will likely cost $649 off contract.

So let's say the phone does release on the 17th. Seeing the razr offered so cheaply already. Does anyone feel like waiting a few days for a cyber Monday special? Does 3-4 days make up for a possible 100-150 savings????

I am so close to giving up guys I returned my bionic 3 days ago and have been on an old LG Dare since then. I am about to go bat shit. This dumbphone is killing me and making the rezound look sexy even though I've wanted the SGN for 2 months(((((
You've waited this long. Don't settle unless you're absolutely sure you'll be happy for the next 18 months at a minimum. I know it sucks donkey nuggets to be using the Dare but think of the reward.

Depends on demand. It is hard to tell with Android phones. If it was the iPhone and you wanted to sell a brand new one right after launch, you could sell it for $600 most likely easily. However, Android phones tend to go for less.

i need a new phone sooooo bad. iv had my env touch for almost 2 and a half years and the front / touchscreen, camera, and spacebar dont work. im just itching for a new phone. I have had an upgrade since april but i held out waiting for the gsii, and i was devistated to find that verizon would be the only effin us carrier to not have it. here i am waiting for the release of the galaxy nexus. i am sure it is an epic device and i can't wait to get my hands on it, but im starting to get impacient. if its later than dec 1 then il prob just get a razr and b happy... anyway thought id share my story... btw, this forum rox,

By no means am I an expert on selling on ebay but i would think that would easily knock $100 off... I would sell it NIB only.

Has anyone thought of buying the RAZR for 111.11 and then buying the Galaxy Nexus full price a few weeks later? And then possibly, selling the RAZR for about 500 to make up for buying the Gnex full price. This way (for those of you that have an old phone on its last legs), you get to play around with the RAZR for a few weeks.

I have a plan off contract and my plan has 2 other phones and I have the $20 off data per month. I would like to know if I could order a phone from Amazon on their special and not change or affect my plan. I know you don't get quite the discount when you are not a new customer but I have always been scared to order from amazon because it seems like you have to change your plan. Anyone have any experience with this. Just want to keep my options open for the GNEX. Thanks everyone for being so helpful and informative in here.

VZW makes you pay the full cost of the phone if you upgrade and do not activate the phone on your line. You will have to unbox. Amazon will probably also toss in charges for not activating the phone you bought.

It looks like amazon is only offering the $111 price for new vzw customers and not upgrades... The upgrade price is $249, unless I missed something..?
