***Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release speculation thread**

Not open for further replies.
I don't know how to do a link on my phone but there is an interest article on crave UK about Jelly Bean Nexus speculation and whether they'll use Moto or Sammy as a manufacturer.

I really hope the Galaxy Nexus gets Jelly Bean soon after it comes out, because I really dislike Motorola phones
I don't know, I just find them incredibly ugly, I'm not a fan of the industrial look, so I would pass on a Motorola Nexus 4...

Not as big an issue as some, but add this to the OG Droid issue list:

Yesterday my SD card died on me, taking everything that was installed/saved on it with it.

Phone has worked without issue for 2 years and BAM! It was just sitting on my desk at work when it happened.

I think Verizon is testing us, but I can hold out. No way I'd jump on something just cause its out today, knowing that I'd have to not have the Nexus for the next two years.

Just tried that, cleaned it with spit and kleenex, still nothing.

Spit is only good at 80 and you're a grandma wiping off a lipstick kiss on your grandchildrens cheeks when they give you a saddened look. :P

Get some fine grit sandpaper man. A light scrub a dub dub to rid it of small black dirt dots.

I don't come bearing Nexus news but I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to all veterans and their families. Kinda puts the whole annoyed while waiting for the Gnex release thing into perspective. Without all of you, it would be the absolute least of our worries. Thank you all.

Thanks, but no longer need to worry about it. My old girl is working again!

Hopefully the last time you have to do this with your OG droid to get you through to the GNEX release...

Wrong phone...sorry nothing to see here.

Here is what I meant to say:

Hey sorry if I missed this but...but in checking the Amazon RAZR specs there is clearly a misprint in there hardware info. My Evo is still functional so I am holding on til the 17th, but some folks with dying or dead phones this would probably provide an interim solution with no restocking fee? Can't imagine Amazon would charge anyone for returning the RAZR with such an overlooked and widely discussed specification?

http://wireless.amazon.com/dp/B0061OQJTK

Hardware
Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor capable of opening web pages twice as fast as most other smartphones.
4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced multi-touch display (Quarter High Definition; 960 x 540 pixels) with scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass.
MicroUSB port
Micro HDMI port with 1080p HMDI Mirror Mode output to your HDTV or monitor.
Removable battery
3.5mm headphone jack

Just got my Razr email too. I was interested after they presented it, but as semi-reviews have come out I've moved on. I have heat issues with my OG Droid and hate it now, so I wouldn't want to upgrade and keep the same issue.

That's describing the Bionic...

I JUST got the email from Verizon about RAZR - thanks dipwads, I didn't sign up for anything regarding that phone. I would rather chew on shoe leather than get that phone (but that's just a personal opinion).

LOL I was just saying the same thing. I go into my inbox and see an email about introducing the RAZR. Screw the RAZR...wheres my Nexus?! I too also never signed up for the RAZR updates...

And yeah, I've been lurking for a while. Been wanted to post but I can never catch up lol. You guys have been on a roll in this thread. And I'm glad to join the fray.

Not sure if you just posted a wrong link, but that's the bionic.

For those of you who are wearing out your F5 keys, there is an add-on for Firefox called "Reload Every", which, well, reloads every x seconds or minutes.

I'm going to hide the next for those of you who are easily offended (it's not terrible but some people won't find it funny, I hope I'm not the only one who did)

One of my friends was just in my office asking about the RAZR. He said he was interested so I ran through its points - both good and bad - then told him about the Rehound and the Nexus. He wants to wait till December so that he can try all three hands on. As he was walking out of my office he stops, turns and looks at me and with a smile says 'You have become quite the technology whore, haven't you'.
(please understand that this man is also a friend outside of work and we have called each other many many names and I know it was said in a joking way)
I shook my head no, and said with a huge grin - 'Technology slut. Whores get paid'

Correct Link...sorry:

Does have the wrong specs though:

FCC Friday is up on Engadget along with a Skyrocket review.

No sign of Gnex in FCC. :( but Im not worried!

We check the FCC daily (2x a day if that) on here.

If the GNex pops through the FCC you'll see it here before Engadget puts it up in their Friday post. Those are just things that passed through during the entire week.

Welcome to the crazy size of life.

Good to know! Thanks.
