Good morning!!

Is it just me or is seeing all these commercials for the Vigor and Razr make anyone else wanna throw up?

Not all all, just makes me think we are that much closer to it being OUR TURN!

I know I am in the minority by a large margin, but I LIKE the name "ReZound".........

I asked him if he was sure about that, he said they are already getting them in stock. He was messing around with one earlier in the day.

These two sentences are what really gives me hope.

As long as there is a way to order it online before Friday I am good. Otherwise this is the worst day for me. I have off the 17th and I will be on a plane early Friday morning. If there is no online ordering before launch on Friday you guys/gals better not buy all the phones before I can get to a store! ;)

Was looking around yesterday and saw that both the sprint and att SGSII only cost $199/$499 (w/ contact and without). I assume the sgsII is their premier android phone. So why is VZW charging us an additional $100+ more than what their competitors charge for the next closest phone?

Given all the vzw bloat on razor and rezound those phones should be cheaper than the competition. I'm considering foregoing the nexus so in 12 months I can switch to sprint. Any sprint customers here that can give me some insight to help me decide if I should upgrade to gnex and lock into vzw for a long time or follow what seems to be the cheaper total cost of ownership path with sprint. I feel like verizon is sticking it to us with phone price and given that sprint allows more frequent upgrades they seem like the better company.

Simple, the cost for LTE is applied up front to the phone. With sprint for example, they charge an additional $10 per month to use their 4g wimax, which over even a 1 year contract will cost you more than the extra $100 you would pay for the phone on Verizon

Seeing as the kindle fire reviews paint it as 'meh' at best, looks like the gnex is the only thing to look forward to at the moment.

They no longer offer more frequent upgrades.

I have to agree. I may not like that they came out first but it means we are closer to my little paws holding Nyxie. (yeah, I think I just got the name of my phone)

Your good night and good morning posts are on the same page. You are a dedicated poster.

I'll go with dedicated. I've been called other things for how much time I spend looking at this. :p

Once again I will remain pessimistic today and the rest of this week because one can only be disappointed when his hopes are up. As long as my expectations are low and I don't expect a launch date announcement today or a launch any time this week, then my expectations can be nothing but exceeded if it does happen.

Good morning everyone!

(Wow, a good evening/good morning post from me on the same page. You people are getting lazy! Although I like that i don't have 8 pages to read up on from the night before)

We are getting closer each and every day! Even if it is next Monday we should be hearing something soon. My bet is still the 17th/18th. It all makes sense. Google (reportedly) is dropping the ICS source code on the 17th. The UK gets theirs on the 17th. We saw that Kellex's original rumor of "Razr 10, Rezound 14, Nexus 17) has because 2/3rds of the was true. The 3 sources said as much. Stores got their training and accessories last week.

It's all fitting together! I have my money waiting. Let's go Verizon!

Good morning guys! Did I miss any good news over the weekend? I tried to keep up on my phone but.....I really couldn't i did pick up an xbox and MW3 to hold me over until this phone comes out though :)

I think I'm still drunk from last night...

Not that you guys care, I'm just saying....

Did anything happen yesterday?

(p.s. I took a half day, please god let 11 am get here...)

I'm betting on the 21st, which still puts us in single digits until we all get our Precious. I believe we're in the 3 -7 day "cone of uncertainty" to borrow a National Weather Service term. Hey, I'm on the west coast of Florida and Hurricane season is pretty much over this year (whew).

So Steven, are you going to send us all PM's when GNex drops? lol.

Great morning to all here and around the world! Is another gorgeous day in the ATL nice and warm (winter sux) and we are

3 days away!!

Hare to believe we are so close y'all have fought the good fight so far. Keep it up ;)

P3 finished his Gnex review. I enjoyed reading it, it's actually pretty fair and thorough.
He really likes it :D

Galaxy Nexus Review

I've got to say I'm very disappointed that the search bar on the home screen is not removable. I hate anything cluttering up my screen unless I want it there. On my phone, I don't even have a clock, and the notification bar is hidden unless I swipe a certain way.

That really blows.

Interesting that you cannot remove it. Maybe with an update you'll be able to. Of course a rooting as well can take care of. Certainly not a deal breaker thanks for the link to the review...gawh ICS is gorgeous!

Since the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have a locked bootloader and ICS hopefully being released on the 17th, I don't think it's going to be a big problem since I'm sure there will be a ROM available that allows you to remove it. :)
