I don't understand anyone who wouldn't go that route if they are not planning on going with or are currently on verizon. The SGS2 is a superior phone. I am only going with the gnex because verizon screwed us over and passed on the SGS2. If you are worried about the SGS2 not having an LTE radio, the gnex on GSM wont have one either anyway. Not like it matters if you plan on sticking with AT&T since they won't have a decent LTE footprint until 2015.

Maybe thats just the date for the hard release. It certainly lines up with the marketing roadmap that was leaked a while back. I'm still hoping for at least a "soft" (e.g. web only or non-advertised) release of Nov 17th. I'm crossing my fingers that we will hear something official tomorrow. No I'm not like that. I only say what I know. Got of the phone with a VZW Ex. Whom is above me.
Which one? And what was the reasoning for the late release date?
Thanks for the info. This seems to be a fairly uncommon date compared to the rest of the rumors that we've heard so far.
You may get jumped, but thanks for posting this.

hold on, if the source code is released, how is it still super buggy?
and when will this announcement be made??
Verizon keeps failing it because for some reason the icons for VZNavigator, VCast, and any other V crap aren't showing up. Verizon's testers can't understand why this is happening.![]()
I only state facts. I don't like the "it might be this date" game.
Except the GSM launch keeps trucking along. So if anything it'd have to be something related to cdma or LTE.
Verizon's warranty change is do to these facts;
Most people that by a cell phone are clueless about them.
So with the release of the Nexus, it will give them people a chance to return it for something that they can understand better.
And there maybe people that do not like the idea of having soft buttons,
the Nexus will be a trial and error phone for the most part.
And if there is a bug or two, and you do not want to wait for the OS fix,
then you can give it back.
The new warranty is for the Nexus.
So with the ^^ above crazy talk I say we hear about the Nexus this week.![]()

Nexus stability problems persist. Hope new builds improve dramatically...struggling to enjoy the truly amazing aspects of the phone.
I like the sound of that Phandroid rumor! I know that's all it is, but still.
SirLance99: any and all info you have would be greatly appreciated!
Ahhh, STOP THE INSANITY! I think I'm going to leave the thread for a while. You all are great people but I can't take the rumors, speculations, and general fantasy world that these posts exist in. I wish you all afond adieu. See you after a date has been officially announced.
This may give merit to my return policy theory.
Is it possible that the hold up is what to do about returns if there are problems..?..Could be.
The Nexus is a beta phone , new hardware and software that the masses have not tried yet.
We the Masses will be the true testers.
I'd be severely disappointed with that date, so I pray you are wrong. I need it for Thanksgiving weekend if at all possible. Thank you for passing along what you've heard, though.
