Because the fix was probably already done and included in the code released today. All of this rumor and drama about it being delays may simply because Verizon put a "hold" on the release until the fix is confirmed. They may not have moved the release date at all (whatever date that may be).

Since Google released the source today, the VZW release should have been 11/10 as previously leaked. Just like last year.

I know it is such a corny, cheesy thing to do, but my wife and I have been together since we were practically kids and one day when I was playing one of the MK games we were talking about the names. She said she liked the name Raiden, but for a girl and i told her I would hold her to that. Many moons later we had a baby girl and the rest is history. She's the cutest five year old princess with a Bad Ass name, haha. Back on topic...she too asks me when my new phone is coming out, cause it's been forever. :)
 
I have to write a term paper but I'm glued to these message boards hoping to get new information.

I feel like my grades will suffer until I have this phone in my hands.

I know how you feel, I have a paper to write, a thermo test tomorrow and some other homework and I am totally distracted by these boards.
 
Lurker here. FYI, Verizon is currently having a promotion where you get $10 off your monthly bill for opening up a new two year contract. I believe one of the requirements was that your voice plan has to be at least 1400 minutes with unlimited texting. I believe you can only get this plan by calling the "Verizon Loyalty Department." I couldn't find a link about this anywhere on the internet but the VLD rep I talked to confirmed the promo and said it ends November 30th so hopefully the Galaxy Nexus is out by then.
 
Off topic....but for those of you still using your Incredible......did YOU get an update today and did you download it? Been hearing horror stories and I need this baby to last til the Gnex.
 
Anyone think that this is going to turn into another bionic fiasco? The phone will be released a few months after announcement and then get superseded shortly after release?

I want to believe, I really do, but the pessimism in me just cant be helped :(

If we got an official "we are having problems, please sit tight" That would be cool with me. Even that. But We. Got. NOTHING. right now
 
I still think it's coming at the end of this week.

Stores are getting their accessories, and the VZW employee told me today it'll be the end of this week. I believe it.

Wouldn't know I'm rooted and have been on gingerbread cm7 for months. If your inc is getting long in the tooth, start rooting and romming it and you can have a different phone everyday.
 
I just hope by the time this phone comes out I still want it.

Anything by the end of November will theoretically be fine with me until I see people using the international version on Thursday and me knowing that Verizon royally screwed up this launch.

I've seen people getting it. Some have been ok. Others not so much. If I were you, I'd wait.

Most of the dates mentioned today have no substance behind them really. The December dates came from some rumored release delay in the UK along with random people on twitter, but Samsung has come out and stated that there is no delay. The 17th came from a supposedly leaked Verizon document, as did the 21st and even the 28th can be traced to the marketing schedule. I would have said no way for a Monday until the Rezound came out today. So when you really break it down, all dates are rumor and suspect until Verizon makes an official announcement.

Verizon has made a huge spin on the Wheel of Destiny and all the Nexus lovers are just waiting for that final click when the wheel stops and shows the right date.
