Once I get my Nexus, I will take some new and better pics than these.
Polly is the fawn and Percy is the black one. They are half brother/sister 8 weeks apart. They are almost 5 now, but these are great pics.

After following this thread for i forget how long, I finally gave up and joined.
I bought OG droid when it first came out, used it stock for a while, then rooted and used it for another few months before the screen went insane and the phone was no longer usable.
I had to pay for a droid 2 out of pocket (no insurance) and have been using that since, but now finally qualify for an upgrade.
I've been waiting for the nexus ever since the youtube announcement in hong kong, and like everyone else, would love some official solid information. Until then I'm going to bank on 21st (since that diagram of release dates has been right so far for the most part), but I definitely wouldn't mind the 17th (based on the youtube videos of people getting razrs earlier than the release date.)

when he went to the store his vzw friend pulled cases from the back and let him handle them, he mentioned this when he talked about mid december release
Soooo....
We passed FCC and now there is talk of a delay - ANOTHER ONE - into December?
And now some of us have hatched a grand plan to buy a RAZR/ReZound and hold onto it until Nexus comes out, paying only the $35 restocking fee to switch phones.
BUT....
What happens if Verizon has a grand plan of its own?
What if there's yet ANOTHER delay and Nexus isn't released until 1/16/12... the day AFTER the return policy expires?
Folks, I would go into this return plan with great trepidity. I personally would love to bite, but I will NOT risk owning a ReZound for the next 2 years, when I can limp along on my OG Droid until it's released. It's a gamble I'm simply not willing to take.

When he went to the VZW store earlier, he was able to hold one of the cases that the store had in stock for the phone, and he really liked it.

I know. I quickly scanned through a bunch of posts before leaving work. I saw that it went through FCC today and a source said a 12/17 launch and now Steven is saying its coming soon! Way too much to digest all at once lol!

Most sources are pointing to late Nov or early to mid Dec. Han's sister did say it was coming very soon though...so...

Whelp, gotta sign off for a bit. Actually cooking dinner at home tonight (and yep, I work as a chef for a living, very sad). Just cracked open a bottle of Avec Le Bon Veux from Dupont, my absolute favorite Christmas time beer. Been a crazy day on here but glad to learn some great news.
My wife's OG Droid was starting to crap out on her last night during a call to her dad so she ended up using my Bionic. Said she was happy with it. Thank god, I keep talking trash on it and then she keeps saying "I don't want that phone". I tell her too bad, you're getting it and I'm getting my Nexus!

I know your pain. I was just having a conversation with someone else about this very topic. If this phone is indeed pushed back well into December (second week or later) I'm going to spend my money on the tablet, buy a cheap replacement phone if my MotoDroid craps out, and sit tight for the quadcore onslaught early next year.

Am I the only woman on here who feels sorry for those wives who get their husbands' hand-me-down phones? (I'm not sure I got that right grammatically - if one woman gets multiple phones from her multiple husbands, that might not be so bad - except for the multiple husband part.)

Then you return your Rezound on the 15th and use your OG Droid again until they finally release the Nexus...
