in fact, since Oct 1, we've accumulated 31,807+ posts, which equates to a jump to 663 posts per day in that intervening 48 days - quite a bump in activity...

edit: at this pace, it would still take us another 18 days to beat the DInc thread - i don't think ANY of us want to be in this pre-release thread for another 18 days!

But that is what happened with the Incredible...there was excitement for a release and then it was almost a full month before the actual release date...people had literally driven themselves insane.

If they started a pre-order tonight, it might be a tough call to order with delivery Monday afternoon, or wait to try and pick it up Monday morning in the store. I'm going crazy waiting for this phone. My DX is already misbehaving a lot this week, probably due to jealousy.
