Which helped me decide that the only other Android phone I'd purchase after the Charge experience is a Nexus. Oh, yeah, my phone prior to the Charge was the OG Droid. Which I was also unhappy about the lack of updates pushed/not pushed out by VZW.

Anyway...I've enjoyed reading a lot of the commentary on here - and like the community. And, I appreciate that people are generally pretty civil on here! Which is a really nice thing to see.

I want this phone...wish VZW would let us order all ready!

THAT is brilliant!

I was trying to think of good usage scenarios for the codes! That is perfect.
The one thing I don't understand is why Google has not built in a Toggle for 4G data. It's such a known battery hog with the current radio chips...my Charge lasts nearly 48 hours on 3G. And, around 16 on 4G. Toggling between them nets me a decent compromise. But, the bugs in Android 2.2 and my Charge make switching between the two problematic. I have to reboot in order to switch from 3G to 4G (though not the other way around). It's a consistent problem with the Charge (I'm on my second one, had the same problem with the first Charge).

Meh. I went through the "glowing lights are awesome" phase when I was in elementary school. If I could choose, I'd choose a regular cable over a "glow in the dark" one.

You're probably right. It seems like people are trying to create "SGN release date leak" out of everything.

Im sure. It came back after another page reload. It was good to not see that razr on the main page for a couple moments. It lured me in once...:)
 
Sorry it isn't any new news but just thought I'd share my story. Talked to Verizon Customer Service on the phone today. They told me they would note my account to call as soon as they have a launch date but as everyone has been experiencing, they knew nothing. Tried my smooth talking to get any more info but apparently I'm not too good at smooth talking cause I didn't get any more info out of him.

Reason I called is my OG Droid is almost dead. Left side of the screen doesn't work so it is getting very difficult to use. Need a new phone soon and am trying to hold out.
