Lol, sorry. You're not chasing/hunting a moving target; you're trying to buy a phone with a release date that you have no control over. Buying the phone is not some kind of great achievement like crossing a finish line in a marathon.


The better metaphor would be: "It's like camping out in line to watch Happy Feet 2, four days before the premiere." LOL.

For true gratification I'd want it in my hands. But second best would be pre order

And I will be billing this phone to my VZW bill, which is due 2 days after Christmas...which is awesome cos everyone in my family has been informed that they are only allowed to give me money for my Nexus fund as an XMAS gift.

Good lord! I stopped reading around 4 o'clock and this thread jumped over 30 pages! You guys and girls are animals.

Since we only have a few more days (hopefully) for this thread to reach #1, here are the current stats and the daily goals.

We have 257 pages and 12,838 posts to go.

Since we only have three days we need about 4,280 posts per day over the next three days. That is 178 posts per hour over a 24 hour period. If everyone that frequents this thread (Yes, I'm talking to all you lurkers out there.) can just make about 1 post an hour we should be golden by Monday.

Just 1 (on topic) post per hour for the next 3 days. Can you guys and girls do that?

BTW, I understand that many of you may have plans this weekend. Most of us do. You can download the Phandroid App and post on the go.

I haven't seen any reviews for the Verizon version. While I love seeing the phone, I really want to see it perform on LTE and see what the signal quality is like.

According to the Verge review and panda's tweets, Nexus' camera falls below the 4S in terms of picture quality. Would you have preferred that the Nexus come with a non-zero shutter lag 8MP camera (like on the SGii which some suggest rank higher in quality than the 4S camera) ?

Same here, friend has a Bionic and as we live in an area with no LTE his signal on the 3G network is terrible, hoping for an improvement with this phone...and an LTE upgrade from Verizon in the near future would be nice too

Welcome fellow lurker I actually would prefer the 8 MP camera to the no shutter lag myself..I know that MP doesn't necessarily mean camera quality, but from the reviews the camera is a bit so so
